- [Builder's view] Fujimi1/24 Isuzu Piazza (Impulse) is in progress.
Since the turn signal is directly molded onto the body, it's very difficult to work with during painting or polishing. Therefore, I decided to remove it once and then recreate it with UV resin.

Hi Kenji, nice idea to delete the existing turn signals. They will look so much more real when you are done. You are fixing things that I have not noticed yet. Thank you, the scribing tool is a Tamiya engraving blade. I've been using it for a long time and it has appeared in past videos.

敢えて遮熱板を作りますか…流石の拘りですねぇ😅
若かりし頃は社外マフラーに交換する際、邪魔なので取ってしまっていました。
当然ガソリンタンクが炙られてしまうので、今では使えない石綿タイプの断熱材をタンクに貼っていましたね。😅
フジミだけに限らず、タミヤですら当時のキットはサイドウインカーレンズ一体のボディが多かったですね。
今みたいにおゆまる君やUVレジンなどありませんでしたから、磨く人はモールドを壊さないように削り取って後から復元してたんでしょうね。
でもコレ、レンズを留めるネジまでモールドされていて細かいところまで再現されていますね。
こんなとこに力入れてないでもう少し全体形状なんとかしてくれと自分なら言ってしまいそうです。
あー、そうかぁ。ボンネット切り離したんだから開閉させるんですよね。
まだまだ作り込み作業は続きますね😅

裏返して下から見ると、マフラーのところが上までからっぽになるのが気になってしまったので蓋をした感じです。
ウインカーはそのとおりで、凄く細かいディテールで驚きます。ここだけクオリティが高い😅
ボンネットは中身（エンジン）がないので、開きません。ただ位置を固定するためだけです。

I'm very curious about what you want to achieve with the epoxy putty guidance under the hood. It's obvious that you want to make sure the hood doesn't shift, but I'm not sure how it will turn out in the finished build. I mean, I assume the hood can be opened, like in all your other builds. I can't imagine how it will proceed at this point. I'm quite sure I will be impressed, as in every other video series you've created. I'm looking forward to your next video as always. But this time it's a little bit different because I'm not sure how you will proceed from here. 😅

Love where this is going, but you have me asking why all the extra with the hood (bonnet) if it's not going to open. Time will tell.
Since the dimensions are quite precise, I just aligned the positions firmly to make it easier when gluing later.
