UA-cam live stream, and full race upload the following day is service that no other series can bring. IMSA really is the GOAT 🐐🐐🐐 I hope the UA-cam experiment goes well with the bosses, it’s the future.
I love how the broadcast of a national racing series just casually schools the broadcasts of giants like F1. Post action replays while also getting the live feed in a smaller frame that's large enough to recognise what's going on? Sure. Onboards without videogame-esque overlays and focus on the car's sound? Naturally. Oh and incidentally the full race can be streamed live on UA-cam and rewatched a SINGLE DAY after the event. It's off course about broadcast rights, but IMSA is making themselves so easily accessible to Europe and Asia. I hope they succeed and some F1 fans bored by Verstappen dominance come here for some genuinely entertaining motorsport.
@@Grant80 IMSA is basically an American version of WEC. WEC tours the world and features Le Mans. All WEC races are endurance, hence the name. There are two kinds of prototype, LMH and LMDH. LMH are designed and built from scratch. LMDH you choose a control chassis/hybrid off the rack and supply the rest. LMDH run in WEC but LMH do not run IMSA.. yet.
@@ragereset2795 mate thanks. Been watching WRF for a little time now. But only Judy started imsa just never knew the difference as no Ferrari were in that team msa
Having been at this race. It’s nice to be able to easily go back and watch. Listen to all the penalties I missed out on hearing at the track. Thanks for putting it on UA-cam IMSA
At last starting this after finishing the Qatar 1812km... Sebring is so much more gripping than that...thing. Qatar felt like a chore to finish, Sebring feels like a treat all the way through.
2:24:23-2:25:32 👽. the merican cars sound so peng & meaty like nascars. fab👍 race watching & watched the full 12 hours except the yellow/red flagging i skipped. nonstop action. thx🙏 a lot IMSA for the free replay on YT & the free live videos on IMSA web (even tho i didn’t watch live)! free action. spectacular battle between the porsche vs caddy GTPs 🔥!
This appears to have been geo-blocked for the US for a full week. Before UA-cam livestreaming, replays would be uploaded on Thursdays. Is the longer delay a new standard, or was it a technical issue?
I wonder if it's related to NBC and waiting for them to show televised coverage of all the races they want to show, or IF they didn't notice. I just noticed NBC just showed the same race that got uploaded today when this got unblocked.
This does make me wonder when IMSA will start using the virtual safety car that WEC uses. I find it a bit silly to have to bunch up the field just to pick up a small piece of debris of the track
When this gets monetised, I would dearly love to be able to select my commentary team. Feel free to offer both, but as an Australian Lee Diffey is unlistenable. Hindaugh and Co are Murray Walker/Richie Beanaud iconic and a vital part of the coverage.
Can stand Hindaugh and co. Style of commentary Back in the day Motorsport radio meant LIVE descriptive race commentary. These guys just turn up to chat about what they see as opposed to actual commentary, to the point I genuinely believe I could do it... If not better. They regularly miss action on track and make so many late calls. And because they're always late with the calls by the time they get to the replay they misinterpret what happened in the racing altercation and there's no production team to correct their faux pas. The sound balance is off and as a British born race lover, the regional accents of the commentary is annoying in addition to using colloquialisms despite this being a world feed with non native English speakers listening/ watching.
@@torbinzix1 Fair point. I've seen them misinterpret things and just plain miss stuff several times this year. They also don't pay enough attention to telemetry. Still, it beats Diffey's chipmunk-like shrieking by a mile. His ridiculous shouting makes me want to pimp slap him. And that American bloke who commentated Le Mans last year was just as bad with his "Rachel Fry" and "Poo Joe" efforts. Maybe you're right. Time for a pirate broadcast? 🏴☠️
Someone go tell NBC to stop putting the start of a crown jewel race on the Internet and put it back on t.v. like Daytona does put soccer or other local t.v. shows to pay per view and enjoy the first part of the endurance race before switching to another channel from the same network family company. 😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮. Thank you.
Man, I love IMSA racing. But Sebring might be the most sus track still being used today. Watching those hypercars bounce around the asphalt on the turns actually makes me clench my cheeks. I get that it's a historic track, but man those roads could really use some repaving. Way too many fresh tires getting exploded, too.
@A.F.Whitepigeon idk, Macau has definitely been repaved in the last 15 years or so. The roads actually look nice on the majority of the track, despite how dangerous it is. Just looking at the Sebring pavement, you can immediately tell something is wrong. Bumps, asphalt repair lines, fresh, hard tires dying after a single lap... I would not want to drive a hypercar on those roads.
Sebring without bumps would literally make it just another race track i'd argue manufacturers, teams and drivers love it in actuality, as evidenced by the entry lists and big names competing every year a true test of man and machine, much like Le Mans
Sorry to say but these cars are just too slow. More power needed and top speeds at least 380km/h cars are safe and we have electric power. So group C back!
IMSA moving to youtube from IMSA TV is a game changer.
You're leading the way and the fans appreciate it.
If im not wrong, every major endurance championship is uploading full races on UA-cam for free.
yeha...now i can whath any place....

The SRO GT series' have been doing this for years and I'm grateful IMSA have started doing it too.
GT World doing race day live stream says hello...
I have watched both the IMSA broadcast and Peacock, and by far, IMSA does it best.
Whoever is responsible for moving these races to youtube, thank you!! Hopefully viewership explodes, Sebring was amazing the entire way through

Here from WEC, ELMS & F1 so yes, it’s working 🎉
@clemens.j
facts ✅🙏👍
As a Scandinavian, no its not accessible since its geoblocked....
Formation Lap 01:52
Start (GTP & LMP2) 05:40
Start (GTD PRO&GTD) 06:06
I love the pit camera people, like the angles and stuff they get at 10:15 among other moments are so cool and fun.
I am 38 and only just got into this sport. Its great 👍
great to see 60 fps thx guys
Epic: IMSA uploading whole race right on next day, WEC takes 1-2 weeks to upload a 8h race...
Could u explain whst the difference in bother IMSA and WEC
Agreed! One of the reasons I follow IMSA closely, how available it is. Massive kudoa
The WEC is run on 4 continents and there are only 40 cars (lmdh & gt3) . Imsa is only run on 1 continent It has 3 categories of cars@@Grant80

BTW the commentators are the best in the business including the pit reporters.
Cadillac’s pace at least 4 hours in has been immense
IMSA delivers again

3:04:30 Winward Racing with the neon Cold Beer sign above their pit. You'd never miss the box. 🍻😄
IMSA has become "can't miss" for me...much more than F1, Nascar, Indy etc.
imsa needs to implement a vsc or code 60. its dumb how debris causes 15 minutes yellow 4:28:30 is a perfect example of a fcy followed by a fcy

As always. Thanks for posting
Have to say I really like what you've done with the thumbnail art!
YESSSS! i found it! I wasn't notified of this race and now i have it! IMSA bayyy beeee🏆🏆🏆🥳🎉
11:26 - I'm only this far in and it's going to be my favorite part of this race, I just know it.
Great and thanks a lot. Couldn't watch the live-stream, because I was away from home for 4 days due to work-commitment. Love endurance-racing.
2:59:35 That's a cute lego replica
14:33 that’s insane they have to drive through the car parks to get to the pits.
Beautiful
3:51:20 You gotta give it to the crew being able to keep up with the car on a lap like that
14:27 to 14:32 is absolutely the funniest thing/interaction I’ve seen this year in IMSA/WEC. Super valid, but also incredibly funny… to me atleast
You need to increase the volume!
🥺this is now just coming up on my YT feed

GTP LMP2 start 5:20
If you really think about it. The Huber car field is filled with Volkswagens, but my favorite bug out of the bunch is the Lambo
What happened to part2? It was right there when I found it, so I watched part 1. Now there's no part 2?
GTD PRO GTD start 6:08
That Ferrari lap 1 skibidi was so damn lucky 💀 car hooked up when it got to pavement and shoots across the track, somehow no collision.
8 days ago😮 Where in the hell have I been?
thank you for reuploading this!! but please cover GTD as well. getting coverage on prototype majority of the race just isnt fair to the other drivers
They should give prototypes there OWN races and same for GT
50 Years of Mobil 1: 12 Hours of Sebring in 2024 season...
The announcers always say "Dial" but on the screen its Dalziel. Its the same driver, but why the two different names?
This does make me wonder when IMSA will start using the virtual safety car that WEC uses. I find it a bit silly to have to bunch up the field just to pick up a small piece of debris of the track

Still dangerous AF though 😭
crazy I just filmed the Pfaff mclaren Gt3 on my youtube channel and with richard hammond and jsame hinchclif
That yellow caddy looked super dirty
the Lamborghini SC 63 is getting left behind
Its a brand new car. you cant expect them to front run in their first race.
Great to see more competitors more manufacturers and therefore more competition this series just keeps getting better and better
