@@lego7315 It's the nature...the mother believes her love is unconditional, but the children know that they must listen to the rules to make the mother happy...therefore conditional. It's not bad a bad thing, it's called guidance...it's only bad when you instil negativity / insecurities into the children.

The understanding of this concept of love and unconditional love is deeper than what is presented. Yes, there are always conditions, but these conditions are based on the level of specific karma the mother or father has for their progeny.
Being a father, myself, I have high expectations for my child, and these are conditional ONLY within society. However, no matter what my child does, I will never abandon, refuse to help and care for, and will never stop loving my child. This IS unconditional love. Same goes for mothers of a certain karmic level. God bless us all.

I realize a mothers love is not unconditional. But she was not ask to love unconditional. When we were kids true it is unconditional but as we grow the limits that you speak of grow as well. Just wanted to give my opinion on this ( maybe I am not correct but like we learn from mistakes right) In my perspective only love for yourself and the way God loves you is unconditional... Mothers truly love us but as said there are always some conditions and these are necessary.. People have their individuality .. Think of it.. If someone very dear to us dies, we grief.. But why is that so? Because their existence matters to us.. They may provide "us"some of the best feelings or moments but those moments? Why do we need those... For us! Because they makes us blissful and gives "us" a feeling of contentment..

I have a doubt Sadhguru ji, we are born of mothers body.. then how come we come from soil? Just asking because I am unable to understand properly. Yes we eat food which comes from soil. But how we have come from soil? I am unable to understand this.... please tell
We grow only because we eat and we grew in our mother's womb only when she ate. That food comes from plants that can only be grown in soil or animals that live on those plants. That material (organic compounds made by plants, minerals from soil) is turned into our body. It's nothing else. Hope it helped.
Human evolution has been like that! We have evolved from being an aquatic life to an amphibian to a mammal and then finally become a human when our spines got erect.
We all are just the offsprings of those ancestors of ours, so technically our body is just a piece of this planet!

I think words get in the way sometimes. I think if God is love, and if there's some part of us that is eternal, then it must be sustained by some form of unconditional love. Maybe that is the "nothingness" from Buddism and words getting in the way is like the teaching of the Tao.
