How to Change the Peugeot 206 Headlamp Bulb

How to change the peugeot 206 headlamp bulb :
If you want to replace the right side bulb : first remove the screenwash filler pipe
The rest is the same for both sides :
Remove the protective plastic cover.
Disconnect the power connector from the bulb, by pulling it.
Release the securing wire clip.
Remove the old bulb.
Hold the new bulb with the same orientation.
Install the new bulb with the same orientation.
Secure with the wire clip.
Connect the power connector to the bulb.
Install the protective plastic cover.
On the right side, reinstall the screenwash filler pipe.
Confirm the headlight is OK now. (both full and dipped).
That's it !

Ok so the squared side of the “hat” should be facing upwards? I managed to install it the opposite way and apparently the light becomes distorted that way.

Disconnecting the power supply takes the strength of a GOD on my 206 no matter how hard you squeeze and move and shake and use all the strength that a human has it just doesn't unplug.

is there a certain way the bulb has to sit are can you just pop the bulb in and secure it with metal clip and reconnect

This can go a whole lot easier. Take out the grill and remove the headlights . replace the lights in the garage for a good fit and access

+Gil Lebovich Thanks for the advice, I actually have a 2004 model, I tried but it doesn't rotate, eventually I found that the top part has a plastic clip which you have to squeeze your hand down to unclip to remove. Just thought I'd share in case others are stuck at this stage also. The rest of it was spot on. Thank you so much for this video.
