@samuelboulangerAI sure, so I am on my second year of masters "digital Management" and the thesis is about the full integration of Microsoft 365 and dynamics for the automation of the sales process, was able to integrate crm with a sharepoint site now I am working on creating some flows to manage the documents there, a bit difficult at the start but your video made me understand the logic behind it, many thanks 😊 keep doing these type of videos you are helping a bunch
@@samuelboulangerAI Thank you! Just a quick question. If I want to use the name with the numbers after instead of just the name, what do I have to insert into my power automate, instead of full name? Thank you!
Just a quick question! Can we use account_id instead of account name, so that we will automatically obtain de out-of-the-box integration? Thank you in advance!
Hello Samuel, your video is extremely helpful! But I'm a bit lost because my situation is what you avoided, i have multiple subfolders. My folder structure is as follows: In my SP site > Shared Documents > ProjectType Folder > ProjectCountry Folder> ProjectName Folder > Documents Folder. I need to be able to upload into the Documents folder. Any idea on how to achieve this functionality?
Hi Samuel, very nice video. I'm wondering if you also have a solution when the Account name is changed? The foldername in Sharepoint and the URL's should also change.
How do you handle issues when the flow doesn't run, suddenly (ms updates)? Mine suddenly failed and creating ugly folders, because of the system flow. Is there a way to disable the system job or rename the auto generated folder, if it exists? Can't get that to work either or to delete the empty folders without a title.
How to make the flow so that the hierarchy of the folders is maintained, when a new opportunity is created? The flow works fine if the hierarchy starts at opportunity, but if it starts at contact, and within contact the opportunity, am I missing something?
Hi Samuel, Many thanks for this video I am working in a similar approach where a case needs to be under the Owning Business Units, owningbusinessunit/ticketnumber Got practically working with few perks Cannot workout how that instead of the owningbusinessunit "real name behind" shows instead of its GUI, e.g sales/CAS-01033 appears as 24c97ab0-aac1-ec11-983f-000d3a65e284/CAS-01033 If the Documents tab is manually triggered the flow it is not executed instead the usual folder with the case title is created instead If the case is reassigned the former folder location still remains keeping the uploaded documents on it and left behind, an empty folder is created under the new business unit location Any thoguths?
YOU ARE THE BEST YOU SAVED MY END OF YEAR MASTERS THESIS WITH VIDEO I CANT THANK YOU ENOUGH
Glad my video was helpful:) Now you got me curious, what is the subject of your thesis ?

Hi Peter, if the URL is stored on the account record, you can trigger a Power Automate on change and update accordingly.
Hope this help.

Basically if the trigger change you'll have to create another flow to handle the scenario.
Hi Samuel,
Many thanks for this video I am working in a similar approach where a case needs to be under the Owning Business Units, owningbusinessunit/ticketnumber
Got practically working with few perks
Cannot workout how that instead of the owningbusinessunit "real name behind" shows instead of its GUI, e.g sales/CAS-01033 appears as 24c97ab0-aac1-ec11-983f-000d3a65e284/CAS-01033
If the Documents tab is manually triggered the flow it is not executed instead the usual folder with the case title is created instead
If the case is reassigned the former folder location still remains keeping the uploaded documents on it and left behind, an empty folder is created under the new business unit location
Any thoguths?
