- A hare-brained idea brought to reality: Let's celebrate the new Edinburgh Tram extension by visiting all 23 stops in a day. Will we make it all the way from the Airport to Newhaven? Join us to find out and maybe see some of Edinburgh along the way (as well as our struggles!).
This video was filmed in Edinburgh on Wednesday 5th July 2023.

I don’t pretend to be a travel expert, but I love what I do and would be honoured if you came along with me. My channel focusses on the wide-eyed wonder and excitement of finding somewhere new, and my genuine reaction to it. You might not get a history lesson in my videos, but who knows, you might pick up some useful travel tips along the way, add a few destinations to your bucket list and hopefully be entertained by what you see. Thanks for watching, it means a lot to me :)
I do ALL of this myself. Planning, filming, editing, promoting, all with a weekly upload schedule, so please understand not every video will be an epic adventure. But my pledge is to always do my best in any situation.
FAQs:
WHERE ARE YOU FROM?
I was born in Glasgow but have lived in Carnoustie, Dalgety Bay, Stonehaven, Edinburgh, Montrose, and further afield (Salamanca, Spain & Devonport, New Zealand)
WHEN DO YOU UPLOAD?
Saturdays at 10am Scottish time. Occasionally a bonus midweek video will pop up.
WHAT EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE?
I film with a GoPro11 and my iPhone12. I edit on iMovie and use epidemicsound.com for music. I also use canva.com for thumbnails etc.
WHY DON'T YOU SPEND LONGER AT DESTINATIONS?
The usual suspects I'm afraid - time and money! Hotels especially these days make my eyes water like a true Scotsman.
WHERE'S ALICJA?
Alicja will feature as often as possible, but I'm afraid she has a proper job so it can take weeks for our schedules to match up.
DO YOU PAY FOR YOUR OWN TRAVEL?
Yes I do. I've only ever accepted a complementary ticket as compensation for a previous problem. All my opinions are frank and honest reflections of travel as I experience it.
WHY THE ADS?
It's my income, I can't do this for free.
CAN I CONTACT YOU?
I used to list my email address but felt bad not having the capacity to respond to everything so took it down (and I got a LOT of spam so missed many genuine messages along the way).
HOW CAN I SUPPORT THE CHANNEL?
Watching my videos is of course support enough, but if you'd like to support further, I'll pop links below for Paypal and Patreon. All kind donations are super-appreciated and will go 100% towards future filming trips.
DO YOU ACCEPT SPONSORSHIPS?
I don't like to upset the flow of my videos, so I don't even include mid-roll ads anymore (at significant loss of income to myself), so I prefer not to include sponsorships either. I'm open to a small slide at the start/end of each video, but I don't want to get into talking about products, it's something I don't like as a viewer myself (especially as a viewer who pays for UA-cam Premium). So it's probably a polite no, although all of this goes out the window if you offer me something which can give me the chance to make a video for my audience that would otherwise be impossible.

There are only two people who can turn an everyday, mundane, commuter route into an interesting and entertaining challenge. Thanks for the video. Loved it.
Haha we had our doubts! Thanks :)
How many people commute to the airport?!
Who in the world came up with this tram challenge? 7 hours to cover 18kms! You guys have real stamina. Always great to see Alicja. She added a great sense of fun to the video.
And it was HER idea 🤣
@@steve-marshso you can’t say NO to that! Otherwise you’ll have to do a whole video on “how you can say No to the better half” and that sounds worse than the trams!
Cracking video!

It's like the opposite of the "seven cities in a day" challenge video. 🙂
Great video guys, it was nice to see all my old haunts from a trams eye. I lived in carrick knowe and balgreen a few years ago. I also worked on Murrayfield stadium. That Edinburgh gateway seems very under used. Wonder when it'll close 😮
Thanks guys, always very interesting and funny. 👍😊
Thanks for making this, really appreciate the work you both put in to show us something if interest at each stop where possible. It was actually a really good idea, like a slice right across Edinburgh giving us a bit of a flavour of the place. And there’s absolutely nothing wrong with Greggs!
Cheers Martin! Aye the Greggs bit - it was more that we had all the choices of the big city and STILL ended up there, and Alicja's pizza slice tasted like it had been on display all day :D
Watching this is a great way for those of us who don’t live in Edinburgh to get an idea of the city and some of its interesting parts. Well done!
Thanks so much, we really wanted to show a different side of the city from the 99% of Edinburgh videos :)
Nice video Steve. I must say this is something I do when visiting a new city as its a great way to see the city and sometimes you find real gems that are not on the touristic routes. Its also a cost effective way to see the sights and you can do it at your own pace. Thanks again for a great tour of Edinburgh.
Thanks so much! Aye, it's certainly a bit different from the normal kind of city tour eh? And nice to avoid the crowds in a very busy city!
I enjoyed that 😊 One thing I did notice was how pristine everything was and next to no litter. Well done Edinburgh!
Aye it was looking good!
One thing I've noticed when I return to Edinburgh for a weekend now I live abroad is how filthy Edinburgh actually is.
Litter is a real pet peeve for me. There is no need for it.
@@craigslotsalot Your standards are clearly lower.
Edinburgh is pretty bad for litter.
@@craigslotsalot lucky you.

Well done Steve & Alicja, certainly a ten out of ten for stamina to do the challenge (or was an endurance test?!)
Pleased to see you called at Harburn Hobbies, I’ll be calling there myself in two weeks time on our visit to Edinburgh.
We have four days in Edinburgh before we start our tour, so your challenge gave us ideas on new parts to travel to! cheers Paul
Harburn is an absolute joy of a place, so glad it hasn't changed much over the years, few places like it around anymore!
Well done! Watching from Portugal and trying to imagine the views my daughter watches on her way to work and back home. Thank you!
Awesome! Thanks so much :)
I am enjoying this from Australia. My daughter lives in Scotland so I like to see the scenery and familiarise myself with the stops. What a hoot ! Thanks for posting this video
I grew up near Edinburgh and lived there for a long time, but moved away in 96. My last visit was 2017, so seeing the changes is fascinating!
Cheers for coming along on a bit of a different city tour :)
@@steve-marsh I really appreciate your hard work! Hope you got some good scran eventually! Lol.
This city guy really appreciated seeing you do this across Edinburgh. Loved all the different housing and municipal buildings. Impressed how clean all the streets are.
Great video guys - and what a fantastic advert for Edinburgh.
Just to clarify the fares - the expensive fares apply ONLY to the Airport - for every other trip no matter how far, the price is just £2.00 for a single journey (same as for the buses) !!
THANK YOU Steve and Alicija! I am planning a trip to Scotland in the fall, and this video has shown me how to take a wee trip, as I believe y'all refer to it, from the city center to the port. While I will not be stopping everywhere, I will be riding the tram to the coast now. Grateful for the heads up on this.
Always nice to see Alicija with her trademark cheerful exuberance and playfulness in this video. Y'all make a great couple,
Have a safe and pleasant weekend, and I look forward to next week's video.
Thanks so much and wishing you a fantastic trip! The area between the city centre and the shore really is on an upward trajectory now and it's (in my opinion) the place to see the REAL Edinburgh, away from the busy streets around the royal mile.
I am so proud that we have actually ridden on this tram system. But what a great and engaging film, love it !!❤😊
Thanks Steve and Alicja. My sister and I are planning a trip to Scotland next year. We want to use as much public transport as possible. This video alleviates some concerns I had about using public transit. Thank you guys so much! 👍
You are so welcome! Wishing you a fantastic time in Scotland!
I found trains, buses and trams in and around Edinburgh to be straightforward to use. Have a great holiday
Yay! An All Stations Challenge. Steve Marsh v Geoff Marshall.
I love that modern trams still use the sound of a traditional old bell. I enjoyed the Edinburgh tram on my last visit. An excellent service. Thank you for taking us along with your challenge. 👏👏👍😎
What a marathon journey that was! Thanks for taking us along.
Glad you enjoyed it! :)
Hallelujah! A whole video and my feet didn't get off the ground once! What a joy. I have sort of done something similar only I didn't get off at every stop I just rode straight through and then got on the one and went back just for giggles. Also, there wasn't as much to see here as there is there. How much more fun it was to have Alicja with you than to do this by yourself. Be well, stay safe, love from Texas.
Oh so true, Alicja just had to be here for this one (especially as it was her crazy idea) 🤣
@@steve-marshand why do I not think that you put either much or any resistance to this. It has a two of you written all over it. Thanks again for all the work you to do to bring these videos to us.
Wow, Steve and Alicja that was some tram effort, what a mission. The extension really opens Leith up and great to see Leith Walk, it will make a real difference to the locals. I believe the Tallink Ferry was housing refugees from Ukraine. Well done on doing this one, great challenge.
Thanks so much and for the info too!
Well done! As an American, I am very jealous of such clean, efficient public transportation. Can't wait to visit Edinburgh again.
Loved the bit where Alicja says what the F, when the bus passed 🤣
Careful editing required there 🤣
That bit made me actually "Laugh Out Loud", had to play it back. Very enjoyable vidoe guys!
I've just got to that bit 😂 Had to come and see if anyone else noticed it 😂😂😂
It was just nice seeing the city from different angles. Thanks.
Cheers, just what we wanted to show, so appreciate that :)
You are brave getting off at some of those stops. Saughton and Balgreen spring to mind!!
Haha love it 🤣
Saughton and Foot of the Walk are the two bam stops😂 You do occasionally get posh folk who've walked from Corstorphine getting on at Saughton though and Balgreen acts as an unofficial Park and Ride as there are no parking restrictions on the surrounding streets.
Hilarious challenge. Well done guys. You two balance each other so well.
Thanks! :) Great idea Alicja....
Glad to see the Burns statue was returned after the tram work, hopefully that’s a good sign for the Sherlock Holmes statue as well, back at Picardy Place.
My daughter and I this on the first day just to say we we were some of the first to ride the full route. Glad we’re weren’t the only ones that made a “game” out of it😅👌🏼
Cheers guys!
We have some great ideas eh!? 🤣
Nice one Steve , when I was there a year ago to visit the Britannia (well worth the visit ) they were still building the route from Waverly station to Ocean shopping Centre Leith , so I walked the route instead so its lovely to see it all finished now😊
It’s an interesting wee walk too, and I loved the Britannia tour :)
@@steve-marsh WAIT! You can take a tour of Britannia?! Wowzers! Now just WHERE did I put that pen . . .
A very interesting watch showing all aspects of the city's regeneration and development, mostly for good....and much enhanced by your glamorous assistant!!
Haha thanks :) and it was ALL her idea, so no was was she avoiding doing this one with me :D
Had to laugh at Alicja's reaction at 17.53 !! Not sure why the horn was necessary though!! Well done on the challenge ! :)
17:53
Thanks Steve I love ❤️ Edinburgh keep up the great work paul in Kent 😊
Thanks so much Paul for suffering with us! :D
Heroic effort guys! Also, a helpful intro to the tram and locations of various stops. Heard you say “down the shore” near the end of the vlog. A phrase from English, Irish settlers to the US that remains here in Eastern Pennsylvania and Southern New Jersey. Elsewhere, it seems to be “going to the beach.” Great hearing this older reference with its images of the ocean and sand and freedom from school!
Ah that's so cool, thanks!
Interesting,I was born, and Raised I Birmingham UK,but I have lived in N J for 30years,now in NY,and though I have heard people saying down the shore,I didn’t realize it had British origins.I suppose living in the Midlands we never went Down the Shore LOL.
Shore is the name of a street in Leith just before the end of the river where it flows into the sea. Pubs and restaurants down there. People refer to going down to the Shore.
@@iainmcl414 Thanks!!!
Recently found your channel. Its fascinating, very relaxing to watch, fascinating places to see. Your travels around Scotland, showing how beautiful it is. Your channel takes me to places I wil not see , but can, thanks to you and Alicija .. Thank you.
Ha! I love this kind of alternative urban exploration. It reminds me of the day I spent on the Berlin tram network, after I discovered that with about 5 line changes, you could travel from Kopernick to the centre of town. 3 hours to cover a 40 minute S-Bahn ride!
Some of those interchanges were in the middle of nowhere..
Haha love it!
And yes Steve and Alicja i did watch you both from start to finnish.A bit of moral support doesn't go amiss,This was something that
i will never do ,so many thanks for bringing me along for the day .Cheers to you both ,
That was an interesting ride, more say the closer you got to Edinburgh and definitely much more interesting than that other tourist attraction that was appearing before the crowd that day.
Cheers for coming on our alternative attraction that day :)
Here's a challenge for both you Steve and alicja. Camping in your van or choosing you own accommodation travelling around Scotland starting from home and you choose ether way round travelling a lot the coast then heading in land. So east to west and south or north can yodo it if not I understand 🤔
Before the trams the bit from Bankhead to Saughton and Balgreen was a bus "guideway" for the Route 22 service which used to follow much of what is now the tram route. Useful because it avoided the traffic lights that otherwise severely slowed down your journey.
Ahhh some nice inside info there! So many wee local knowledge short cuts in Edinburgh (and sadly needed as well!)
As an Edinburgh resident this video is priceless. Thanks for posting this 😊
Hey thanks so much!
Disappointing to see that Edinburgh is nearly as expensive as London for transport but the tram looks good. Enjoyed seeing non touristy parts of the town. Thanks!
Thanks for coming along on a very different look at the city!
@@reb0118 That is a ridiculous amount. £6 for a day's travel round Edinburgh would be good value. No wonder people walk to the airport rather than pay the extra.
@@SirPrancelot1£5 for a days travel in Edinburgh
What a great video of the route, with a wee tour of Edinburgh as well. I used to work for the trams and this brought back some very fond memories! Thank you.
Mad as a box of frogs but great fun. You didn't come out of Ryrie's 24 hours later did you? And that helicopter may have been keeping an eye on you! Thank you both.
Haha that should be the channel name :)
Loved it. I lived in Fife in the early 90's and I used to walk from Princess street to Leith occasionally. It has changed, but it was good to see it again.
Interesting video this week. After watching you guys sort of struggle towards the end, I question how someone could do the same trip whilst also doing a pub crawl! Obviously, you’d have to be in drinking shape to pull it off. Good seeing you both!
I'm not sure I'd know how to switch on the camera after about 6 stops!
@@steve-marsh 😂
Watching in hospital had leg amputation enjoying the vlog very good idea thanks Ian
Hope the recovery is going well Ian!
Nothing wrong with a Greggs 😁
I was thinking the same
Totally agree, we have Greggs all the time, but it was more about the variety of choice in our visit to the big city and we STILL ended up there. Oh, and Alicja’s pizza slice was horrible, like it had sat there all day…
I enjoyed this one - perhaps more than I expected. Have used the Tram in Edinburgh several times but only out to Gogarburn / airport from the centre so the more easterly bits were especially interesting.
You have a gift for making any journey interesting (aided & abetted by Alicja)! That was, as always, plus it's all an education to anyone who doesn't know the places you go. Thanks!
I love the thought of all the penny pinching Scottish flyers walking that last stop to the airport! That airport surcharge is ridiculous! (£12 vs. £5 to include one extra stop) How long before they make it too hard to do this walk, though?
I would do the same on principle I think! :)
£475 for a night. No thank you even though I'm sure inside would be pretty grand! Thanks Steve and Alicja. We enjoyed our few days in Edinburgh back in June 2016. We will come back and bring the kids too.
£5 day ticket on the tram is a bargain. £7 extra on the day ticket (other fares are available) just for the stretch to the airport. No wonder people walk. Cheers guys
Love that you manage so much variety in your videos. Always enjoyable.
Glad you like them! Alicja is to thank (blame) for this one :)
@@steve-marsh Tell Alicja I loved it.
Just had 4 fantastic days in Edinburgh and bought a 3 day tram pass, which for £10 was the best bargain of the trip! Eating and drinking in Leith and travelling back up to the city centre for our hotel could not have been easier. Nice to see the other end of the line in your vlog. Cheers Steve and Alicia.
That was quite an interesting challenge, although you were both definitely wilting towards the end. Did any of the tram drivers start recognising you? 🙂 What a shame you didn't look for lunch at Edinburgh Park Station. In the carpark at Hermiston Gait shopping centre across the road, is a wee van. It's called Scrumptious Snax, and when I visited it two years ago it was the #1 'Quick Bites' location in Edinburgh, according to Tripadvisor. Great stuff, mate!
Ach that would have been grand, us country folk were blinded by the bright lights of the big city, we were sure we'd have so much choice in and around Leith! But it was all coffee and cake. I'll keep a visit to Scrumptious Snax for next time...
This video is actually a lot more important than it seems. It capture important information that is relevant to people who are not from there. How do people commute? What clothes and shoes are they wearing? What cars are in the street? How busy is the center of the city? What businesses are open at lunch time? Do people use electric scooters? Anyone seen skateboarding? This will become particularly relevant many years from now. It is like a sociological snapshot. There should be more such videos from many places around the world.
Great vlog thoroughly enjoyed it. We watched the red arrows from St David's Harbour, Dalgety Bay. The Talink Ferry hosted our Ukrainian friends up until this week. Newhaven faces us directly from Burntisland. Well done you two❤
Thanks Janine! Ah St David's would have been a perfect vantage point :)
@@steve-marsh was fabulous, my bairn was absolutely thrilled.
One of your best videos Steve! Thanks to the both of you for your patience with this challenge!
Geoff Marshall would be so proud of you!
I'd LOVE to see you and Geoff collaborate on a video in the future!
Well done guys! In reverse order,
1) Everybody thinks the Newhaven terminus is in a bizarre place! You'd have thought it would run into Western Harbour (that's the new flats next to Asda, there) or indeed, up to Newhaven Harbour as you say. I guess the road is wider where they've put it - and there is passive provision for an extension along to Granton that's being talked about already, along with a revised route up there from Princes Street...
2) Yeah, the time's up for those anchor-store-at-either-end 90s shopping centres. Ocean Terminal is unusual in that it lost both of its anchor stores (Debenhams and Bhs) and, most of the shops that remain are actually on the upper floors! I think the cinemas do quite well there, so I guess that's the reason...
3) The Tallin ship, which arrived the previous Sunday, is the temporary home of a couple of thousand Ukranian refugees. The City Council and many others are none too happy about this. I'm not sure if you noticed, but Victoria Bridge (the old wooden one that used to carry railway lines between what's now Rennies Isle and the Southern end of the docks and Seafield Yard (and thereby providing one of the physical links between the former Caledonian and North British Railways) is being restored as a public walkway. It's looking quite good!
4) Yes, whomever would have thought the Port of Leith would turn into a wine bar, Steve??
5) I take it you don't prefer Wetherspoons for meals? Only, the Foot of the Walk pub is right next to, well, the Foot of the Walk tram-stop! There's also a nice new sit-in chippy at that end of Great Junction Street, should you ever be down that way again...
6) So don't you do avocado either, then? I've always felt it tastes like soap myself...
7) Not much of Shrubhill tram depot (of the old system) left now, is there? The even older Leith Tram Depot (on the other side of The Walk, behind Inchkeith House - which was the Leith Tramways Company's offices), was only recently demolished too.
8) You've been away from Edinburgh too long if you're surprised that there's still work to be done in that Leith Street / Broughton Street / Picardy Place island! It seems to me it's just what it £%&*ing does!!
9) Although all traces of York Place Tram Stop has now been removed (the platform was sitting over the city-bound tracks), all passenger trams prior to the recent opening of the extension still ran down there empty, to use the crossover...
10) In have always favoured that now-£475-a-night hotel building with the stone figurines too.
11) The latest proposed tram route to Granton would leave Princes Street and turn along Queensferry Street and then continue via Orchard Brae and the Western General Hospital to Crewe Toll, before adopting the former railway alignment to West Granton - where it may or may not link up with that extension from Newhaven, if it is ever built...
12) Note the track loop in what used to be the coal depot at Haymarket Yards - handy for turning extra westbound trams at the end of big events at Murrayfield. There's also passive provision in the trackwork for a turnout just where the line crosses the old Caledonian Railway Princes Street to Leith & Granton Line - along the track-bed of which was where it was originally planned to go.
13) Where did you live in Edinburgh, then? I'm at Gorgie Park - we must have just about been neighbours! And, surely I'm not the only one who reads 'Jenners Suppository' on that warehouse buildlng??
14) The City of Edinburgh Council decided to drop the proposed branch from Ingliston to Newbridge recently - and proposes to use the money (which they don't yet have) to lay tracks "Up the A71 corridor to serve the college and university campuses at Sighthill and Riccarton."
15) 'Saughton' is a misnomer, isn't it? I'd have thought thnat 'Carrick Knowe' or even 'Broomhouse' would have been better. It does serve the Government offices there mind you - and it was originally known as "Saughton Hospital."
16) Gyle Centre has kept both its anchor stores - but has lost several others and is looking pretty tired now, I agree. What on earth persuaded them to put the tram stop so far away from everything else? Despite this inconvenience, it's fairly well used.
17) Edinburgh Gateway wasn't originally there when the tramway first opened. It is now used mainly by staff as their changeover point. The biggest white elephant of all is the enormous railway station with all mod cons above - it is only there at all because, while the Scottish Government revised the original plan for the Edinburgh & Glasgow Electrification Project - which was to have had most of its' trains diverted through the new station and along a new curve that was to be constructed to the south of Dalmeny; the contract for the tram interchange station had already been let...
18) So, when you're building a brand new tramway along a completely new alignment, it's so obvious to build the stop that serves one of the largest employment centres in the city at the other side of a busy dual carriageway, isn't it?
19) I've not been along there for a while, but permission is now granted for the development of new housing estates between Gogarburn and Ingliston stops - which will be served by a 24th tram stop I believe, for which passive provision is already made! So you might have to come back in a few years and do it all again - I'm sure Alicja wouldn't mind - in fact, she might even do it on your behalf, now that you've shown her how it all works [runs away and hides...!]
20) I might not have baked you a cake if I'd known you were coming - but as a holder of a C+ Edinburgh-issued concessionary pass, I could have chummed you along and saved you £12... Only saying!
What a fantastic read, thanks so much mate, but I must admit the comparison of avocado to soap is my favourite! :D
As far as I know that huge Jenner's building at Balgreen has always been a 'depository'. I don't think it's ever been used as a 'suppository', as you suggest. I certainly hope not! 🤣
We watched this 2 minutes after you uploaded it tonight!
Not bad for your southern most followers 😄
Oof you deserve 2 medals - one for being quick, one for surviving this video ;)
This extended tram route as another great addition for exploring the city of Edinburgh (well done Steve)
The 2 white flour mills,at Newhaven, have to come down,(so ugly) but the Leith Western Harbour area, north of Newhaven, has so much growth potential,as its is land, with fantastic sea views! Undeveloped just now!
p.s. Haymarket train station is where you get off if you want to go and visit "Dean Village"!
Lovely 15 min walk from the station!
Good points mate - I imagine if we ride the line in 20-odd years, we won't recognise the place at all!
Thanks Steve for taking us on a guided tour of Edinburgh, in your own special way. A new method of commuting which i would like to try, alighting at each metro stop.

"Home game" this week. I might have guessed that Edinburgh is a beautiful city and yes, it is. Your challenge is a perfect format to have a glimpse of its grandeur and it results in yet another item on my bucket list. Respect for your perseverance despite fatigue and growing appetite!
I visited Edinburgh last month and was on the tram several times a day. A day pass cost me £5 for the city itself. Thanks for posting this video!

I think my wife and I are maybe due you an apology, Steve! ☺️ We were the couple that accosted into you at Dunnottar Castle a few weeks back, and we may have surprised you with our pointing and shouting "STEVE" like over excited school kids. I should explain that my wife and I were visiting Scotland from our current home in the UAE, and I had repeatedly told her that there was NO WAY we'd bump into you. What are the chances, eh!?! Thanks for being so gracious, it was very nice to meet you. Keep up the great work! John & Baru

Cheers Wanda, never EVER thought this would make a video :D
Thank you so much for this video. I have been to Edinburgh (love it)a few times but I have never experienced it this way, thanks again.
Really enjoyed this vlog. Was in Edinburgh in May so floral clock was still just dirt. Thanks for showing what an amazing job the gardeners do each year. One of my favorite spots to visit when I’m there. Cheers, enjoy your weekend. ❤
They did an amazing job eh!
Brilliant filming .. Lovely weather for you both.. God bless you from Brian and Jenny Lancaster from Bradford West Yorkshire
GEEEE WIZZZZ I feel so tired now. Loved it. Thank you

Steve and Alicja, the Simplicity of Your fantastic reviews make it a Great vouge, I enjoyed the video very much!
This is such a cool challenge. We got to see so many different areas of Edinburgh. I really enjoyed this.
That was an awesome idea for the video Steve, I really enjoyed it!👍
Steve and Alicja, thanks for showing the tram route! I’ll be in Edinburgh for the first time in about 10 days. I can’t wait! I love all of your videos, one of my very favorite UA-cam channels.
Thanks so much from us both!
Thanks for showing me around Edinburgh and all the trams at every stop and it is nice to see you both out and about again at least it is nice and sunny day and all the ships and the shops and the views and now you have done all 23 stops now Thanks Elaine
Thanks for completing the challenge with us Elaine!
Super helpful! I’m arriving at Edinburgh Airport this week and have been looking for the best way to get to my hotel. It’s the West End stop, next after Haymarket. This gave me a great visual of riding the Tram.
We were surprised at how much it has changed near the Britainnia. Dave used to park his lorry there. They had so many "Fish and Chip" shops along there. Aw, you both made it fun. Thanks! Merry Ann.
Oh it sure has! Thanks for coming along Merry Ann!
Watched this and almost all of your Scotland videos and we are really enjoying them. Keep filming.
Thanks so much!!! You deserve a medal!
Will be taking the tram when we go to Edinburgh. We come in at Waverly Station. You both make it look so easy to get around. Hope it will be easy for us too. Thanks for all the help
The things you do for my benefit and education, you both must be on the New Years honours list 2024 ! 😅😊
Haha imagine it! Alicja would turn up for her medal in the same top!
Another splendid video! Thanks to you both.
The first holiday my now wife and I had together was in Edinburgh in 2003. It was marvellous.
One of the things she wanted to do was visit RY Britannia. I wasn't so interested, but we went there.
It turns out it was one of those things that really captured me; I absolutely loved it.
Long may you and Alicja continue to make videos. You two are great, and great together.
Thanks so much! Totally agree, the Britannia tour is special :)
A big well done to both of you for all the efforts put into that video!! Ye definitely deserved a drink after it all !!! Best of luck with the next video take care 👍👍👍
Thanks so much Michael!
What fun for us! SO sorry it was not so fun for you! I especially loved seeing all the Old City spots that I am familiar with, and reliving my time there last year. I LOVED seeing the floral clock! Thanks so much for that! Pretty cool to see the Port of Leith Distillery. As someone who is in the whisky world, these things thrill me the most! Very cool to see the Britannia there, too! Thanks so much for all you do for us! Your videos are a valuable resource. You give us good information, presented in a friendly and relatable format! Please keep doing exactly what you do!
I really appreciate it Catherine, thanks so much!
Interesting video. I like the modern trams.they look to be quite comfortable. Also I noticed that the streets were clean, no litter and also no graffiti visible. 👍👍👍⭐️⭐️⭐️ from 🇦🇺
As tedious as this was to produce by you guys I actually really enjoyed it. So thanks!!
