How to build a Small Container Patio Pond with Fish Zone 10

I recently built two ponds in my small backyard garden with a plaster container with medaka and solar water fountain pumps. They are super easy to build and maintain. I do not use any chemicals in my pond to control algae and mosquitos, nature takes care of it and my fish are helping too. I have a 700-gallon Koi pond in my backyard. I have always had some fish around me. In the coming weeks, I plan on building a container pond with Medaka Rice Fish but I'm considering keeping it inside my home. Question: Were you able to use regular potting soil on the bottom of your container pond? Also, I really like the way your pond is set up. The large piece of wood was a nice touch!

Thank you for sharing George, good luck on the container pond with the medaka fish : )! I used AquaScape Pond Plant Potting Media only in my container pond without regular potting soil.
