I've kind of always liked that about the Inner Circle, where they like to swagger around and flaunt themselves a lot often to cartoonish lengths, until you do something that genuinely gets on there nerves and its like a switch is flipped and they will instead opt to try and fucking murder you
(see also spiking John Moxley in the eye and the entirety of the street fight with Trent and Chuck)

My thought process is that the inner circle was waiting in the bathroom for 3 weeks for the Pinnacle
Why did I think about Tammy 2 from Parks and Rec when I read this?
I mean. It's the only logical conclusion.
Mine was that the entire Inner Circle was at the hospital last week licking their wounds and saw MJF on the hospital waiting room TV talking about how the Pinnacle was taking the Inner Circle’s locker room. Jericho then had the genius idea to hide in the bathroom and get the jump on MJF’s goons.

One of the more memorable shows in AEW history for me. Inner Circle returning and brutally taking out the Pinnacle so soon was a pleasant surprise and so satisfying. Very well executed. It's been a while since I've been so invested in a wrestling storyline.

I luv how each of them were put down in a vicious way spears gets his head slammed with a door, wardlow gets put through a massage table, cash gets put into the ice bath (that ones a bit iffy), Dax gets busted open bad, and mjf gets a swirly and he gets put through the machine, even Tully got his ass beat lol
I dunno, it's as my friend was saying the other day. An ice bath can still shock your system... And a sudden plunge into something cold? Makes sense that Cash was taken out. I hate when my shower goes cold so a crap ton of ice? Oof. LOL =)
I would say that everything look really neat except the ice bath and the massage table, those two weren't that great when compared with others.
Cash probably enjoyed that more than you would think.

The Inner Circle as a group has so much range, it's incredible. They're able to go from funny, affable heels to serious, hardcore brawlers without missing a beat. Also have to add that Jericho's callback to his feud with HBK was awesome as well, that line was delivered with the perfect amount of sinister intent. Good stuff all around!
