Loving the new to me Intro! Been trying to catch up from the very 1st conversion over the past month. I am SO happy to have a Christian bus life family❣😘
@@TheBusLifeShow yes they did I remember you guys with the old bus and your too youngest girls was born. Good luck with the new bus can't wait to see the finished product 😁
I drove a Van Hool bus exactly like yours when I worked for Arrow Stage Lines. I called her Baby. Every time I saw a white Van Hool going down the highway, I would yell Baaaaaaaaby.
Wow what a progress in such a short time! Now that I have more experience I see how you neatly plan every detail and the way you make the walls, door included, is really clever.
Nice job you guys, I wish you all were here in Missouri. I have fired the contractors that have started the job for us.they either go out to buy material and they don’t come back that day.or they do such lousy work I just tell them to go home. You all are a perfect testament to our savior
I want to say thank you for your videos. The wife and I bought a 40ft Van Hool bus and are doing the same thing. I am working on the mechanical side right now. Can't wait to get started on building the inside.
Yes van hool did a great job insulating the bus. I have a small clip of my conversion on my page. Same model. Not done yet as I did it by myself and never really done anything remotely close to this. The roof was a nightmare because of how van hool setup their structure beams. Anyways I’ll keep following your build.
Oh my God the one section where you guys were drilling through the bay floors. unfortunately I was really happy that you were going through exactly what I was going through lol what a freaking nightmare with their metal. Definitely they did a good job with the metal work because it’s almost impossible to penetrate it.
Wow, haven't see you all in months Good to see the family. How long is this bus? Is the whole family still together ( no one moved out?)? Always a pleasure to see one of my favorite YT families!!!
I would love them to have longer videos, but I think they are working a lot and the quality of the videos and the editing is amazing, so I think it takes a lot of time, therefore they can't make longer videos. But thank you for you comment! God bless you.
It's looking good so far. Julie, always wear safety glasses when using the saws. I know from personal experience that getting sawdust or wood chips in your eyes can be really painful. Just a thought, is there a way to put an emergency handle on the inside of one of the bay doors to the bunk room? In case of fire or some other emergency the boys really need another way out besides through the bus.
It's looking good. Isaiah are you editing these videos? you are doing a fantastic job!! Let me just say it now I am the first to say this is your niche you are going to go far with editing and videoing! I
One of the hardest part I’m having is I want to keep my windows and they’re shaped in such a odd way that the walls are getting complicated when trying to flush it with the window
What does the look like that opens the bay doors I have the same bus but is 1998 and I have one bake door that will not open even with trying to turn the key to unlock it does nothing
Well if I did a bus conversion my list is #1 buy a bus #2 design my idea and start building #3 if it doesn't turn out how it was supposed to after working on it for months then torch it and give up. Nah Just kidding don't give up and try again and don't torch anything. I'm weird

They bay doors can actually be opened from the inside.
@@TheBusLifeShow , that's good to hear.

Thanks Suzanne!
That's awesome
Keep up the ‘Good’ work! See what I did there! 😆
Yes…😆
Could you put slides on the bus for more room?
👍
One of the hardest part I’m having is I want to keep my windows and they’re shaped in such a odd way that the walls are getting complicated when trying to flush it with the window
We have found a way around that.
What is the fridge model you were talking about Julie?
We are looking at two options. The Norcold Polar N10DC or the Norcold Polar ELITE N15DC.
What lumber did you guys use for the framing?
2x3
Just wondering how are you going to black out some of the windows, and if you are how?
We are still formulating that idea and will show soon!
What does the look like that opens the bay doors I have the same bus but is 1998 and I have one bake door that will not open even with trying to turn the key to unlock it does nothing
The key?
"Compressor" fridges are MORE Efficient.
We are super excited to give one a try.

I think it's too short of a video 🙄
We are doing what we can to work, film, edit repeat! 😆
Too much editing and music and not enough substance, the continuity is not there, sorry.
Change the channel.... 😏 Nobody is forcing you to watch 😂
Woops wrong channel
lol...welcome anyway!
