Been watching your channel for a bit. Seems like you know what you're talking about. I especially like that you organize your thoughts and are able to break things down without rambling. I appreciate that. Subscribing!
As soon as he said 66 percent aren't subscribed I subscribed. lmao Ive been new to the DS community for a month now, and watching most of his content. Hayden def has some golden goose eggs to follow 🤩🌋
Well, I just subscribed and I’m in it to win it. Working 9-5 as a general clerk and I barely have time for anything. Just want to quit and just have vacay any day. I think I trust you and will like to support your channel as I find growth with my Shopify goals and living with my gf (In NJ/I’m currently living in Seattle and struggling with financially)
Never thought of that. You have a store full of products but you only focus on one big seller at the time. Thanks for that tip. Can’t believe I didn’t think about that before
I subscribe to people I like, not people who tell me to. I have a content and personality checklist that needs to be met for me to warrant a subscription. When you make content that is common you need to compete, not beg.
Damm, I only started watching your videos last week but for some reason you seem really easy to trust compared to a lot of other "shopify gurus". I wish I had your advice in April when I had my fidget spinner store. I did $9000 in sales but I could of done so much more. I'm 17 same as you, keep the awesome content coming bro. You're a fucking boss. 😎😎
Good video, the intro was hilarious. I was wondering how much experience you have had with UA-cam shoutouts? They're definitely WAY more expensive but do you think they are more effective than instagram shoutouts? Is it possible to get a high ROI or does the high price just offset the possible gain. Thx 👌!
Hi Hayden, my name is Mike and I've been watching your vids for a few weeks now. I also live in MN and it sounds like you've moved out West but, I would love to grab some coffee and pick your brain next time your in town. Your videos are great, I'd really like to hear/see what a day from wake to sleep was like on your first store. What were you doing by the hour and on a daily basis when you had you opened your first store. From how many products did you start out with and what did you start with, a general store or niche specific? How much did you originally start out spending as far a out of pocket money before you made any money? I have a ton of questions but I figured starting from the beginning would be best. Thanks again for vids. Mike
Hey... great content Hayden. Question... have you ever just let a FB ad run forever and let FB's algorithm determine the correct audience? I've heard this strategy from a couple other "experts". Run $5/day ads and let it go until FB gets some VC, then ATC, then eventually Purchases.
What ads do you consider as "working"? Do you expect a positive ROI from cold traffic? Or you try to break even with the first sales? OR you do a "free + shipping" method?
GOOD MATERIAL i watch you and Sebas for guidance. Im in my early phase of testing. My website is poo.but im focused on the marketing aspect for now.As soon as my broke ass make some 💰. Im taking your class Hayden.
Watched like 50 of your videos. Will make my shopify store in February after I'm done with exams. If I make 300 dollars within the first 14 days, I will subscribe.
Thanks Hayden for all the excellent tips. How do you find a balance between testing different niches and not become a general store? Say if I have a pet cloths shop, how can I test selling a gaming mouse? many thanks.
Why does everyone recommend running $5 ads for 2 or 3 days? Why not just run a $15 ad and find out TODAY if this works or not? Any reason my logic is wrong?
Cool, but you say try with ig SO first right? And if none of the different SO’s hit it’s probably the product that sucks and you should try a different product right? But does this mean that every time I try a product I have to create a whole new store if the products are not the same niche? or should I make a general one and try everything on there? Or what’s the best way to go about this? Thanks great vid btw:)
selling whats already selling good seems to be the best way to start with but do u think u could sell products that u know certain type of people would like and where u see potential even if there aren't already 5000 units sold? with great marketing etc.
Terrell Truth Adams Clothing especially womens clothing gets an ass ton of returns. I'd avoid it. But if you feel like dealing with the headache more power to you.
Really wish I could use Facebook I can’t even start a ad and it will count me as suspicious activity, I honestly had to make like 8 different emails and Facebook accounts just to run a ad
@Ruben Jimenez I had this same problem!! Untill I took it to a computer tech & he told me it was because my hard drive on my laptop was gonna burn out & I was running a bad cleaner that was erasing all my cookies and Facebook operates of cookies so I looked suspicious to them. Try changing ur hard drive
How do you track your influencer? Is there a program you use to see where exactly your traffic is coming from? If you ran multiple shoutouts at once how do you tell the difference between who’s (influencers) bringing good traffic?
i wish i understood while mine wont work i'm trying to sell shorts cause summer i checked google trends and its going up and peaks around this time of year but nope haven't got a single buy admittedly only spending 5 dollars a day and it is only the second day but still id expect something am i wrong or is this typical of starting out and only spending 5 a day
Hey guys. One question, have you experienced talking to influencers and bloggers and they are giving you, this crazy price of 300-500 per post for 100k followers page? I mean those influencers has quality posts and good engagement, but how to overcome this crazy high costs? I cannot low ball them to 30$ per post... like the tariffs that Hayden is talking about, which for page of that number, should be even less... can i offer them something else, like paying them percentage of any post? kinda lost, thanks for help..
If you have a store that was built around a particular niche but want to try experimenting with other products is it ok to test those products on your site? Kinda regret not starting with a general store at this point, but at the same time, I fell like I could find a much better product but don/t want to crete a whole new store/pay another monthly fee if it doesn't end up working out.
For Facebook ads, is it better to have the customer land on the front page of my website so they can choose which collections to view? Or is it better to set it to one specific item? For setting it to one specific item, i'm afraid they'd bounce if they didn't like that one item whereas if it's landing on the front page, there's a variety. Thoughts?
If they visited for that specific product and have to go around looking for it, it can be annoying. I'd say do one of two things: a) have them land on the front page, but make sure the product(s) you're advertising are near the top, immediately visible and just 1 click away, or b) make them land on the product page and have a "related/similar products" bar right under it. Then again, if your branding and product selection is on point, and your visitors are the target audience, you shouldn't have to do anything special to encourage them to browse around.

This, This is the type of intro you need to be doing. Some creative shit that's hard to repeat every day. Fucking bingo, Gary V would be proud.
"Build into it, you dont go from never going to the gym to going 2 hours a day 7 days a week" That was such a good analogy wooooow!!! So true

Alex Becker says that almost nobody uses UA-cam shoutouts but they are golden, a truly untapped source of very targeted audiences.
Subscribed bro. Great content.

How do you track your influencer? Is there a program you use to see where exactly your traffic is coming from? If you ran multiple shoutouts at once how do you tell the difference between who’s (influencers) bringing good traffic?
You could set up different bitly links. That usually works for me
i wish i understood while mine wont work i'm trying to sell shorts cause summer i checked google trends and its going up and peaks around this time of year but nope haven't got a single buy admittedly only spending 5 dollars a day and it is only the second day but still id expect something am i wrong or is this typical of starting out and only spending 5 a day
