Sand dunes are one of those things where you take 3 steps up to get one step up. Thanks for another great video.

Great overview! I’m planning our first camping trip with kids, ages 3 and 6. You gave lots of info that’s helpful to families. Thank you!

We have appreciated traveling to nearly every corner of Michigan and finding all the special places we never knew existed or revisiting the ones we have enjoyed for years. Too many people don't realize how lucky we are to live in such a beautiful state. Thank you for watching and commenting!

@@Trekers Absolutely! Aside from getting out with my kid having a father son thing to do, that why we started our channel. Help other get out and see our state/outdoors. I made to many excuses on why we couldn't get out. That time is over. :)

So you have to drive into the park from the campground? Can’t walk to the beach?

As I recall, there is a trail from the campground to the beach, but it's certainly not a short one. If you were planning on taking anything with you to the beach, you would certainly want to drive or ride a bike. Here's a link to the Michigan DNR's park map that shows the park layout and the trails: www.michigandnr.com/Publications/PDFS/RecreationCamping/warren_dunes_map.pdf. -Ari

    What sites are more private?

It's tough to say for sure because I don't remember the specifics of that campground layout. We usually try to stay away from dumpers, bathrooms and playgrounds because those sites often are more open and less private. The campground map on the website can help with that, unfortunately the pictures they include on the reservation page don't often show you much. There is a Michigan State Parks Camping group on Facebook where people often discuss specific campgrounds and campsites, so that may be a good resource for you.
