Thx, the 04:30 tip was gold! I have been using Photoshop superficially but effectively for over 10 years but never knew this feature. I have been asked to modify a World Health Organization pic and more often than not most users in a similar customization situation have avoided the original letter curvature and went for text in straight lines, but now I can do better.😃
t doesn't work for me. I am unable to center the circle in the first place so the four blue dots don't appear on the page at the NSEW points of the circle. That means there is no wiggly line. Can someone help me out here please?
Bro when I press T on the keyboard now the typetool comes up but I can no longer clich this little square at the top of the circle. What do I need to do now?
This is really great, thank you so much. Just one thing, if I'm going to be honest, the giant yellow border is super distracting to me as both a professional photographer and designer. Thank you.
Doesn't work for me at all. On Mac. When I make the circle there are no little handles on it like they appear in the video. Hovering the text cursor doesn't do anything but straight text.
Thanx a lot Ruben. I'm using CS 4 and was surprised it works. Some of your tutorial terms are ok for cs 4 but I could not see anything about Shapes under Layer. I was not able to adjust the shape once together (used group layers and was not able to resize as you show here, was not able to type either? But with an Elipse it worked well with my text curved convexly after I moved it from the top inside the bottom of the elipse (to folow the edge of a mug) I hope I can work out the rest later on :)
hey there, your tutorials are great. im trying this tool at the moment, but my cursor for writing, it doesnt change for that different line when i slide over the circle, it still just write horizontally. i cant figure it out if is there any thing selected that doesnt allow the cursor changes to write over the circle. any thoughts?
@@Ttrack900 I got the solution bro 😆 just move the pointer through the shape and u'll find it....move towards the outline slowly...try it worked for me
This has been the most clearest way to curve text, thank you so much Reuben. Most other tutorials too fast, great for us with ADHD !
I just tried it with Photoshop 2020 and it works like magic. I love it.
Thanks for showing the warp feature. I just went from CS3 to 2023 Present version.

Thank you! Super-simple, very well presented, and easy to follow. Brilliant!

You need to use the Elipse tool, not the Eliptical Selection. Elipse Tool is usually nested behind the Rectangle Tool.
Thank you so much very easy to do.
(Good Job Reuben)

Is there a way to curve text before you type it?
THANK YOU BRO
I cant figure out how to move the text around the circle
Nice, thanks
good one
Thanks ;)
Great tips! Would you make a video on what PS layout you use for these tools?

The same thing happens to me! Did you find out how to do it? 😞
When I type my text and press the tick button. The text just flashes black and white rather than being normal text. Frustrating
niceee
I don't get those 4 dots on my circle... I can't type around the circle it goes straight through it
Me too bro

I use cs 4 and it worked. Then I used the 'direct selection tool' below T for text in cs4 to move it about. I needed a convex c

Thanks for the video! What font do you use in your intro?
I believe it's Helvetica
