Mindustry is a still quite a small community so I doubt I will get that many but it's nice to try help all the new players since there isn't many tutorials out there. thank you very much :D
1:40 Well uh I think the left one is a little bit faster because it is going on a corner. In my experience the items actually "cut" corners which means they travel ever so slightly "faster" than it would a straight conveyer. For ex, If you were to input 2 titanium conveyers to one router and output them to 2 normal conveyers then the throughput would be bad. I think corners provide that little extra speed. This is my opinion btw..
1:42 game cannot unload a bunch of item simulatiously to 2 output lines. One receiver is always prioritized (same goes to drills and distributors outputting to conveyors- there is always that first one). So the same situation goes here- probably left conveyor is prioritized over right and gets loaded firstly.
Fundamentally correct. If what I've seen on the Github repo is correct, Mindustry cannot multithread its game logic. Thus, Mindustry can only perform one action at a time, and therefore, any single-part or multipart structure in Mindustry can only perform one action at a time. So Mindustry must prioritize, for example, on which piece of belt a drill will eject an ore onto.
@@AncientShotgun But how does that explain why one is faster than the other? This is like the "Quantum eraser delayed choice experiment". How is the speed of the splitting at a point influenced by equally unimpeded pipe later? The output priority requirement doesn't explain this phenomenon. A better explanation is that the 90-degree turn acts like a 90-degree split/router, thereby evacuating space in front of the wrapped packet before it spawns, which somehow cuts the delay it takes for the packet to accelerate in the pipe.
this video be like: so you see the original schematic most new players use for a full regular conveyor? MAKE IT BIGGER FOR TITANIUM! Oh you need a full plast conveyor line? JUST MAKE IT BIGGER
2:00 the left one is faster because in the right one every time a new batch of sand splits there already is a couple of sand in the conveyor. So the sand splits in 5 and 5. Then the next batch splits in 4 and 4. Then the new batches of 10 sand move towards the item void and the 2 remaining sand splits in 1 and 1. This pattern gets repeated. It takes 3 splits to fill the side conveyors. If you destroy the conveyor and build it aigan, it will split the sand only 2 times in 2 batches of 5 just like the left one.
1:42 Don't think it's a bug, The left 'fork' takes 10 items in and splits them into 2 evenly with no surplus left in the conveyors The right one however, you can see there is a surplus of items left on the conveyor (or items left behind) so when the inputs gets the items to split them evenly, some remains and has to wait an additional turn (for the output to be cleared) to let the items through Reason for this happening? idk maybe some timing issues
these eschematics are very good, but not compact You can't use them on maps with many mountains or small maps Like debris field, fork, maze, islands, labyrinth and more

Please make one on How to optimize surge-alloy production!
Thanks buddy! Just trying to pump out a vid once a week after hours of experimenting :D will get to surge at one point!
Came for Kiln schematics, learned on plast belt branching... ok?
win win
very great explanation even just a little detail, the video has 1080 and more, also has the link for the schematic
hope the channel will grow
I think plastanium conveyers split items clockwise like a router or a distributer

It's been patched, they are both are the same speed now

Finally a way to improve the exports of windswept islands (it basically became my china of exports)
nice

Yeah true, some will work for PVP though
Ok, I got it
The goal is not to be compact, but to be efficient
I hope you do these for v7 if things change
these schematics are great!
Idk why, I didn't care about glasses, they never run out for me.
You never know in the future, it might become more important

can you please explain to me what the machine which makes the metaglass... its just confusing me
Or you can build better one with 2 sorters
Also router chain is bad choice since its produce rate go lower when factory gets longer
the titanium doesn’t work anymore😢
How do you make it so you see the little green diamond shape on the factories
You can find it in the settings
