This took me 6 hours to do in one sitting without getting up
So yeah this takes a while
@toxin angel for the size of the person in the video, the first layer of the X-cuff took 480. Then we have the weaving back to make it thicker. And the overall so I’d say at least 1.5k
it took me 6-9 hours, AND i even made a mask in 3 hours on the same day. they were my first big projects bc i just made 2D cuffs but damn, these take a while
mine took like 3 days, maybe 3ish hours a day. not a joke. the real victim is my fingers
I’ve really enjoyed making kandi while I just it around Nd distract myself :0!! I’m bad at knitting and basic cuffs are boring me now ::00!! So excited !!

But as a kid just getting into Kandi thank you for giving to the Kandi community especially the people just getting into it ,it helps a lot more than you think and your a big inspiration to me and a lot of other kids in the community :D
I’m a bit new to kandi too, and I’ve learned to try smaller things and work my way up if I don’t understand something new. One cuff that helped me get used to this one would probably be the cage cuff because it has both the points/x’s and the x cuff!!
don't worry about messing up! as long as you pay attention and double check before tying knots, there's not really much to worry about! You've got this, go make some awesome kandi!

I did it! I'm 3 months into Kandi, (I've always liked jewelry and crafts but this has been my main craft recently) and this was my 4th ever cuff and my first ever rotating/chunky cuff🙂you did a really good job at explaining!

Edit: I made a new one and I finished it after 7 hours of work. It was worth it.

Use fabric string, it's strechy and won't rot, unless ur cutting it it takes a lot to break that stuff

Hey I was wondering if you have any tutorials on making mega ufo/alien cuffs? I know how to make the normal one but I REALLY want to make one of the GIANT one
The 5 row x base took me literally 2 hours cause I messed up and had to restart. The second part after that took me an hour cause again, I messed up and btw this was my first time. Then I had to do it on the BOTTOM which took another hour. I had to restart on a bunch of parts but it was really worth it because your tutorial helped me create my FIRST rotating cuff and I’m so happy with the results. Although it doesn’t fit on my upper arm, it still goes to my elbow :3 THANK TOU SM FOR THIS TUTORIAL!
