- Restoration of an old rusty Italian anvil, made in 1926
I'll try my best to preserve and make it usable again, protecting from rust but not upsetting it.
It's an antique 20 kg anvil, owned by my late grandfather and I restored it to use as an anvil ...
Enjoy and share your thoughts

I am very satisfied by the result and think it can serve me long time
Super cool, I loved the old look as well.
Thankyou
Very good work my friend 👍👍👍🤘
Thankyou, glad that you like
Man, that is a crazy awesome heirloom; it looks great after restoration! (It'll be the perfect wallnut cracking surface for years to come.) Very jealous--I love Italian style anvils but they are super uncommon in my neck of the global woods.
thank you very much for your appreciation. Yes, that's true, it's a very beautiful small anvil, and it was buyied by my grand father so long ago, so it's special for me. Thanks again for your time
good job bro even though it nit shine i like your restoration...vintage look coz by pitted rust.
thank you, I like the old stuff
Great result
Thank you
👏👏👏👏👏👏
Thanx
What's the deal with the hole on the horn? Pritchel hole or something? Sweet job man, he'd be proud of ya.
You're right, it's a pritchel hole, or this is what I think. Thanks for all
how big is the anvil
It's about 20kg and 46cm long (44lbs and 18 inches if you use the wrong measurement system 😉🤭)
@@rustywood5614 I use the wrong one
@giboron Ahah just kidding, there is no wrong one, just more common or uncommon. You can even use apples for weight and ants for length if the result is correct 👍. But I love metric one (I'm italian btw)
@@rustywood5614 USA I know by the way I have got in to blacksmithing I have A 150lb anvil or 68cm I have sub.
150lb is quite a beast 🤩
