If the images were fake it would be more sensible to put a load of stars in the background :) why would they introduce something that could be seen as unusual. Most of the conspiracy theories are due to lack of understanding of basic principles ie I don't understand it so it must be fake. The problem with the AGC is not about power but about purpose. The AGC is documented as having 8 I/O instructions, three are for output, namely WOR,WAND, and WRITE. It is further stated that the RCS thrusters are controlled by and only by writing to the the two dedicated channels, ie. 5 & 6. If anyone takes the time to examine the program which is supposed to control the ascent from the moon's surface to lunar orbit. they will find that the program does not issue such WRITES ! Aside from doing some calculations and flashing numbers on a display, it performs the work of a simulator ?
