- King Solomon is famous for his ability to summon and bind demons. Legends abound that he even wielded such demonic power in the construction of the famed Temple in Jerusalem. However, there also exists a minor tradition that Solomon left behind another tool by which to summon Angels - the Almandel. This object is a small, portable altar often made in wax whereby various Zodiacal angels or spirits are summoned and communed with. In this episode I discuss the Almandel, known in a dozen or so medieval manuscripts and ranging in both complexity, construction and use - it would even directly influence the Enochian sessions of John Dee and Edward Kelly!

On the subject of threatening astral creatures, I grew up on the border between the United States and Mexico where there was a wide variety of syncretic belief systems mostly based on Catholicism. Among them was the practice of blackmailing saints into helping you. Typically this involved a statue such as that of Saint Joseph holding the Christ child. Older statues had a removable baby so that you could threaten Saint Joseph with not getting the baby back until you got what you wanted.
Reminds me of a dream I had of a statue of the virgin Mary chasing me and for reasons unknown to me I had the statue of a baby jesus with the head of the bearded jesus with the blood and crown of thorns and I was dragging it with a chain and spiked dog collar around its neck (not joking).... oddly enough i had this dream literally when I was a child in the early 90s while we were driving through Texas to Mexico with my family in the summer. Ever since then I always contemplated the reason for such a strange dream. Maybe this might ring a bell if you are familiar with the area but there was heavy rains and this long stretch of road had caved in at a certain point and only the big cargo trucks were crossing because the water had filled in the ditch it made and my crazy dad ended up taking the risk and we drove through it with our old Lincoln with the water flooding in the car just below the seats and we made it safely across

I also grew up at the border, never heard of that one, where in the border was this? In Juárez/El paso we have one where you put an image or statue of saint Judas upside down until you get a partner in love...... We basically torture the poor guy until he hooks us up with a date.😂

The way the dream started was me on a playground while kids were being called one by one in this little chapel and they were Hispanic but when they came out they were albino and lifeless. Pretty much accurate if you ask me. I just barely walked away from Christianity. I'm a much better person for it too.

Solomonic magick has always fascinated me. I've attempted to read the Lesser Key of Solomon a few times but it's very over my head for the most part. Anyone that can contact angels/demons through his work is definitely a master mage. I'd love to try it but I would most likely just condemn my soul to Alabama or something

I am a spiritual person but 've never heard of any of this before...........I was just in meditation after my bedtime yoga and in the stillness I had the words "King Solomon" coming into my mind as my spirit guide.......very interesting to receive this name as I dont know anything about a King named Solomon so I google it and it has led me here to this video!

His name is king shlomo. Solomon is English. Shlomo is hebrew. שלמה המלך. Shlomo ha-melech (ch is guttural chet ח/ך) I doubt a dead jewish king would contact a gentile let alone anyone.

I've never had a worthy reason to summon a spirit of any kind but it seems it would be more terrifying to summon Angels than Demons.

I wouldn't futz around with any such creatures.
I prefer to summon angels and not demons. Reason being, demons are unpredictable and untrustworthy even when they are more willing to tell the truth. Demons come with a hook, to entrap, to make one dependant on them.
I have summoned angels and I also use angels for protection. They ARE definately powerful in unexpected ways for the perceived mind, as with demons also.
Angels are closest to God and thus are protective of the presence of God, and thus your imperfect soul is warded off by God's gateskeepers, as per every level of the angelic sphere, as you get closer to God. Unpredictability is the norm in the spirit world, as is their energy that is delivered at a different intensity than our earthly (Animal/Malkuth/Hell) energy. Remember we fell from grace, from the spirit world into the animal world, and thus we are bound to the the animal world's energy, not by the spiritual world's energy. Any energy transcended from the spirit/angelic/demonic world will either be null or ineffective or be AMPLIFIED and TOO POWERFUL for your expectations or convenience.
Have a happy summoning and a rollercoaster ride thereafter. You get what you wish for in unpredictable ways.⏳

Now I've studied not king Solomon but what he sought instead. So Ive studied theology for a long time..
It turns into fantastical imaginations if only taking it at face value. There are types and symbols for everything..
The portable altar for example.. Solomon in his other scripts, proverbs to be more specific, spoke on how the tongue has the power of life and death.
If the tongue has the power to give life or death , then the body of man is the altar which causes angels (life) or demons (death) to come forward.
We also are made in the image of God so also then we the altar have the names of God written upon us.
I'm not saying this guy is wrong.. I'm just saying this can be inspected much deeper.. allegorys and metaphors..

I’m a spiritual person, but I do not believe in the actual summoning of angels or demons. I was raised catholic and since then have found my own path, which is basically an optimistic agnostic haha the “need hard evidence” type of person.

Bc angels are of a more pure energy realm, for them to appear to us, the lower more impure energetic realm, it affects them negatively. Crystals are known to have a purifying property so they might be the key to “seeing” them with our vision by forcing a form onto them.
