I've never had or shot a Stoeger but from the looks of it it appears to be a mid level quality handgun that would serve a purpose. My logic tells me any gun that sends a bullet down range reliably is worth having, and this includes a gun I like but gets alot of hate from people who were told they are bad but have no personal experience with one, the hi Point c9. The Stoeger looks ok but in my personal opinion isn't anything special. Then again I don't think Glocks are anything special either. While many harp on how much they hate manual safeties on a gun I insist on one. Some will say a manual safety takes too much time to disengage in a critical moment, I would say it can be disengaged on the draw causing no delay. To me a gun without a safety is less safe and safety is the name of the game. At the end of the day it matters not what I or anyone else thinks. What matters is that you are happy with the purchase
