Hi Justin! Just love when they do die cast. This figure is so cool looking. The shake and blue color is beautiful but also feels futuristic retro. The level of shine is just perfect, such a balanced muscular tone in the suit, some of the muscles look like real muscles, it’s strange that it blends in so well in its muscle tone. That different color of blue on some of the pieces and attachments give the figure a nice change in tone and feel. This is a blue die cast figure done right. Thanks for the video! 💎😊
This figure not having blast effects kind of makes sense because this armor is specifically designed to be Stealthy (Of course thats in the name "Stealth Suit Iron Man") and Tony built it without repulsors in his hands because he prioritized the stealth, leaving out the loud weapons we regularly see with Iron Man
I definitely understand the chrome looks mismatched but, I kinda like how the chrome gauntlets look on the figure with the chest piece. The 3 shades of blue in my eyes work pretty well together, only thing I agree looks off with the chrome are those weird hip disks and the calf pieces but, I feel like maybe in a certain pose or angle the chest and arms would work really well.
This comic Iron Man mold looks so good in stealth blue with the red lights. I’d love to see a Silver Centurion retool of this with the triangular arc reactor and the accentuated pointed triangular shoulder pads
When I saw the blogger pictures I knew this was a massive upgrade over the classic suit. The effect they were going for finally makes sense. The outer plastic IS the characters surface and it’s transparency gives the armor a very cool depth effect - rather than being some kind of bulky force field. It also allows for a smooth sculpt on the surface to reflect light while having more intricate details below. Not a figure I would buy since it’s so random (blue Ironman?) but if they made another Ironman or other figures in this style with appropriately colored semitransparent plastic they’d have my money.
It's a pretty iconic suit to people who knew about it, previously! I have always been drawn to the boldness of colors on this suit since it's just so damn sleek and sexy
Just picked this guy up from PopCollectibles after the classic suit was on sale from Sideshow a few weeks ago. Pretty stoked to get the stealth suit in as it’s definitely the superior of the two. Awesome review as always and can’t wait to see that red/chrome mk3 review!
Agree. The blue tint clear plastic fits the stealth armor perfectly. Sad to say, it is far better than the red and gold. Now, let's see that war machine. I've been excited for that ever since it was teased.
They're going to have to because no one's watching the movies anymore Disney's become a shell of what they were just 10 years ago. No one wants the movie accurate figures anymore
Great review Justin! From the box art to the display base to the accessories Stealth iron man is awesome! It's visually pleasing and with the chrome look i think it helps enhance the presentation
That was one of my favorite Iron Man comics issue 152 but one thing incorrect that HT's did the stealth suit didn't have repulsors or it could be detected . That's how it was in the original story at least .
@@JustinsCollection BTW I've only been collecting the Zack Snyder's DC universe figures after seeing your video for the black Trancendent Superman. It's affordable price and your review made me take the chance and order it and have been hooked ever since. To be honest I grew up more of a MARVEL fan as a kid . But Hot Toys has pumped out so many and to me the movies are going downhill destroying the stories I grew up loving . When I saw the Origins Iron Man I kinda wanted it but thought they totally ruined it by that clear plastic over it . But this one might be the one for me despite the things I don't like . Thanks as always for these great reviews. You made me a collector again .... KUDOS 👏
This is a great review, I know those who love this figure are thru the moon…I hope this is a success so HT can do other Avengers and X-Men comic book versions …but glad for those who get him
Hello there Justin! I would like to add an interesting point… I personally think the purplish Chrome option looks way too Awesome! And, that is, because it somehow overall makes him look like a Colossus/Iceman/Iron Man hybrid. Not to mention, the ‘spiky horned faceplate’ gives off Sentinel vibes! He could be the perfect X-Men (Team X-Men) version of Iron Man. 👍 😊 Peace & Love 💙✌️🇬🇧
I agree. The blue plastic pieces look better than the Chrome does. Cool idea but it doesn’t look right. The only exception is the face plate. It’s a tough call on which looks better. I think they both look good. I think I might occasionally swap them out so I could see both at different times. This turned out so good. Unfortunately on the original the plastic just didn’t translate. I do like the horned face plate more as well. It’s a retro iconic look if you ask me. The ribbing and plates on the hips brings back fond memories when I first started collecting Ironman Comics. The classic look gets me every time. I feel like it was short on accessories however this was a Home Run. Executed extremely well. As for the Chrome? I like that they included it as a choice. It’s nice to have options. But the look you favored is the one to use. The Horned face plate in chrome and metallic blue is the only 2 I would swap out occasionally because I honestly can’t make my mind up which I like more lol. They both look great. Wow, I love this figure. Very cool. Wrapping things up with your poses just completes the video so well.
@@JustinsCollection The real question is this. Is the hexagon hexagonal because that’s it’s nature or is it because of our presuppositions and expectations that want it to be that way. Makes you think.
I wonder if the plastic had been tinted red on the original figure, if people would have liked it more. I love it, but the collector community. The reason I bring it up, the slightly tinted blue plastic on this figure really blends into the figure and "pluses" the complete look. Normally I love chromed version of the figures, but not this one. The final War Machine in this line looks like a show stopper..... coming soon from a HT dealer near you! Thanks for the review.
The color is cool, different from the others, I think this is a special edition and the color is like the classic color from Kang in the comics, but there's still green, but the dominant color is blue like this
I’m surprised I like this. I really disliked the clear plastic on the classic red and gold figures However, for whatever reason I feel like this works for his stealth suit. Not a buy for me but cool to see great review
I think if they did what they did with this figure for the first one and have the plastic be a red instead of clear I would look better, not as good as no plastic, but better
After about 2 years of waiting, I'm about 99% sure that the Hot Toys Scarlet Witch has been released. I'm currently debating as to whether I should buy the Wandavision version, or wait until the Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness version. Please help me!!!
@@JustinsCollection Sorry to be a bother but on Toys Wonderland, there are 2 Wandavision Scarlet Witches with different prices. Which one did you order?
Hi Justin, what do you mean when you say the line is dead? Is it the classic Marvel Comics line in general or just the iron man line from the classic comics? I'm still waiting for Hot Toys to do a tiger stripe wolverine... It's my holy grail...
The whole comics idea in general. They did a stupid thing with the PIA studio artist collab going with the clear plastic. It put people off right at the start of the line
Due to opinions and taste some people would’ve complained regardless if they made a carbon copy of the suit straight from the comics. That’s just the way it is.
I don’t think his shoulders look very realistic, like very action figurey. Also why couldn’t they just give us a full chrome iron man instead of this plastic?
Hope Hot Toys makes a figure of Iron Man's *Ultimate Armor* in the future.
That would be cool!

I am really happy with how this one turned out! If only they had done the same thing with the red one!

This is a comic based suit and it’s iron man, blast effects should have been here regardless of stealth or no
@@JustinsCollectionYou said it … it’s a comics based suit. And the stealth mode in comics didn’t have hand repulsors.
I definitely understand the chrome looks mismatched but, I kinda like how the chrome gauntlets look on the figure with the chest piece. I am DEFINETELY getting this figure. You right, the finned head sculpt is my favorite.
For sure!

Absolutely based figure. Looks very Alex Ross-y with the chrome faceplates.
