- We all know that music puts the 'ear' in 'heart'. Great music shouldn't be restricted to only one community just because of the language barrier. OMG, I just gave Pritam Da a really good excuse for copying more music from foreign lands.
Anyways, the blame game for copying music is not something new and has been going on for a long time. Some music directors have copied each and everything while some have cleverly used chunks from the foreign songs. Let's look at some popular songs accused of copying music from foreign artists.

Danish Ahmed it was Atif and Goher who made and released Aadat (in 2003) first of all, not Farhan Saeed. Then Atif left, and then Farhan joined the band. Farhan has no claim over the song.
Even the version of Aadat which is played in the video is not the original. This one is sung by Farhan, from Jal's first album from 2004. Jal's original Aadat sung by Atif was released in 2003.

Only plagiarism is there in Indian music. That is the reason we don't have any chart like "billboard" or "UK chart". We are afraid that it will bring with it the issue of copyright infringement.

The song "tak bisakah (cant u?)" became the first and only Indonesian song that was precisely traced by an Indian musician, and became a top there and even became the soundtrack of the Indian film "Woh Lamhe". There, the plagiarized song entitled "Bheegi si Bhaagii si" entered the top 10 hits on the charts there. It seems that Pritam is very obsessed with becoming an Ariel (Peterpan vocalist) there. And I just found out that there is a triumvirate of film composers who are respected for their fresh and original ideas in Bollywood, their names are Shankar, Ehsaan and Loy (commonly abbreviated as SEL), it turns out that they were also inspired by Peterpan's song "Topeng" on the soundtrack titled "Socha Hai." " which they created for an Indian film called "Rock on" (India's first film about the career journey of a rock band). You can search for the songs on UA-cam, you will be able to hear the similarity in concept and tone. My personal note, of all the songs that are rumored to be plagiarizing other people's work that I have heard, the song "Kya Mujhe Pyaar Hai" which is a 'copy' of the song Tak Can, the peterpan which is really completely similar, only a little 'creation' produced by the singer.In conclusion, Peterpan is a very inspirational band which certainly inspires a lot of other people, especially musicians. Apart from their many plagiarized songs, their video clips (perhaps) have been slightly imitated. In addition Peterpan is a band that is known for its work. The best-selling of each of their albums is clear evidence. This band is also not a band that likes to seek sensation in order to maintain its popularity. One more thing, Ariel and his friends are not only known for their unique, cool, and simple names.
just type on UA-cam "Peterpan" and you will find the masterpiece songs created by Peterpan, whose lyrics are like reading a literary work that you have never seen in any song. lyrics whose language is standard, poetic, abstract, magical.

It's easy just find pritam's song, hum the tune in google assistant, you will easily find the copied versions
Bro it's already there from the start when those came out in market. There is plagiarism tracking site who have all records of all the composer's plagiarised or inspired songs.
Apart from losing respect for the music directors, I have lost respect for even the "artists" performing the music. At the very least, they could stand their ground and ask the directors to properly attribute the music to their original creators. Sadly, everyone is part of the problem and no one wants to remedy the situation.

In short majority of Indian listeners just listen for entertainment and these dacoits are using this thing to make money coz they know majority of them Indian listeners are zombies. see guys pritam chakraborty gave more hits than any one else in this industry as a musician i know the fact that he copied songs but at that time and even today producers gives brief of other songs and music directors are forced to do that i know u guys il say there are too many songs that are original songs correct but it doesn't mean that pritam dont have originals , if u delete all the songs of pritam from industry very few hits will be there . I feel he is the most underrated music director ever.
