Personally I Can't get behind in doing compromises of anything when it comes to this.
The irony of his official second fight using Migi and himself is it ended using a pipe. The final fight ended with him alone using a nothing but a pipe. Damn love this show.
I hated a bit at firs how he also had trouble killing Goutou and not the previous parasytes but then it occured to me that he grew as a character. Also How it symbolically showed people are the real parasites and it even shows a small bit / footnote at the end episode when the parasytes changed their diets and stopped killing people that the murder rate skyrocketed even without them killing people.

The buildup is pretty good and the evolution of the MC in 2 seasons is as well. Definitely recommend it. Its only about 24 episodes or 2 seasons too so you can binge watch it in a day.
Alien hand. A real symptom of neurology patients where a patient has no control over the actions of usually their left hand. Love how this show takes that to a whole other level.
Same, except The Thing is 10000% more terrifying. Much harder to find out who is a thing and the thing can shape shift with every single cell of the body, but by far the most terrifying thing is that one little cell can turn you into one and it would definitely wipe out humanity if it got loose
Amogus Also the thing and invasion of the body snatchers are GOAT. Heavily inspired modern media and shows like this. It's a perfect setup too, where the enemy is invisible or taken over your loved ones. Metaphorically speaking it's like saying they changed so much you hardly recognize them anymore. While you have a hard time harming them they got no troubling doing it to you.

Pain is subjective, certain pain types can be overridden by others, some area's do not contain receptors for certain types of pain. Impalement is not always fatal, pain is not always noticed and some injuries cause so much pain they cause a person to immediately pass out.
