  • How to fall asleep fast? Try an original long bedtime story for grown ups.
    This The Woodland Treehouse bedtime story audiobook is a deep sleep hypnosis, guided sleep meditation sleep story for grownups designed, like all my deep relaxation adult bedtime stories, to calm an overactive mind, reduce stress, worry and anxiety while helping you to fall asleep quickly, tackling insomnia. This also helps to reduce and manage pain.
    This is a long sleep story for grownups created during a livestream with ideas from viewers. This healing sleep meditation bedtime story for grownups is about finding yourself walking through foggy woodland at night. You find red wool tied to a tree, which you follow to a tree that you then climb up to a treehouse. You drift into a daydream and find yourself climbing a mountain. Up on the mountain, you hear purring and discover a purple kitten in mittens. You sledge down the other side of the mountain with the kitten and walk to a hut. You climb on the back of a large highland-looking cow and head to a cave. In the cave, you see glowing symbols and discover a dog which communicates with you. You find yourself on a spaceship circling the Earth with the dog, learning that this is an alien dog. You beam down to a forest where you find a temple. You enter the temple, descend steps to a chamber where you find a glowing lake. You walk through the glowing lake and into a light which teleports you to a moon base in the future. You are given a flaming sword to take back with you that you need to return to its rightful owner. You see a hand rising out of the lake, you place the sword in the hand. The person rises out of the lake, glowing and looking so friendly. They explain that they are an alien, a guardian angel, that they are beings of light, many of whom had been trapped in these temples, separated from their swords. You find your way back to the alien dog, which gets you back to the cabin where you see the purple kitten sleeping. The kitten wakes up and communicates with you, before vanishing in a blue light. You find your way back over the mountain and awaken in the treehouse. You head through the woods to the beach where you see baby turtles scurrying to the ocean, having a sense of a guardian angel. Once home, you see the guardian angel in a mirror before heading to bed.

    Anything that can help with pain gets an automatic like from me. Ok, any of Dan’s videos get a well earned automatic like from me.
    As someone living through chronic pain, these stories have become part of my self care routine. Without them, specifically this channel, I would definitely sleep a lot less. They work better than the pills for sleep, that’s for sure.
    Thank you for your dedication to this work. Dan, you have a real gift, and are so generous to share it with the world. Many, many thanks, from snowy Chicago ☺️👍🥱😴😴😴

    Looking forward to listening to this later. I absolutely adore your stories. I can't afford Calm or other expensive apps so it's a big gift to have access to these. Thanks for all the work you put in. Going to bed is a much less daunting task having something to distract me from the whirring and sometimes intrusive thoughts I struggle to switch off.

    I appreciate the youtube introduction. It gives me a chance to press play and settle it before the story starts

    • @DanJonesHypnosis
      @DanJonesHypnosis  3 роки тому +5

      I tried to ditch the introduction for a while as some people moan about it, and instead just had some text on screen, but on those videos I only got about a sixth of the number of subscribers (verbal call to action, as UA-cam tells us creators has an enormous impact on gaining subscribers, despite people complaining about UA-camrs doing it) subscribing from the videos and it messed with my analytics, showing the watchtime percent for the first 20 seconds or so at hundreds of percent where people were clicking play, getting settled, but now the meditation is playing, so they click to the beginning and start again...
      Also when I said in September that I wasn't going to upload until (or unless) UA-cam fixed the midroll ads issue, but all my stuff would be available elsewhere, I had many hundreds of comments from people about how they didn't know I was on Spotify, iTunes, Amazon, etc, that I had written books and taught eCourses, etc...
      Many hundreds of people suggested I put my sleep meditations on streaming services and make them available for download, and I had to tell all of these people that I already do all of that, and they said they didn't know, even though it is written in every video description, information is on my about page here on UA-cam, I frequently post in the community tab when there is new sleep meditation albums or new updates about things etc.. Yet people said they didn't know any of this. So, when I started posting again after UA-cam apparently fixed the midroll ads issue I updated my introduction to include this information verbally, so that hopefully people will then know.
      I hadn't done this previously, because I don't want to be constantly seeming to self promote, but at the same time I do need to make a living, so need to encourage subscribers and need to make people aware of all that I offer, I just try to do this as little as possible...

    Helping take care of my dad on hospice and getting odd hours of sleep which makes it difficult for me to fall asleep. I cannot say your story was good bc I fell asleep before I found out anything - a few words into it. So, I guess my first listen was a success then 😁. Thanks 🙏 . Going to use it a second time. 👍

    Dan the sand ‘man’. I just love your stories. I know you hear this from everyone but I really had so much trouble with my monkey mind. I’m in a 12 step program for a long time and I practice meditation and prayer in my own way. Spiritual not religious is the way for me but I still couldn’t keep my brain in check ever. I still don’t but I sleep really well now just listening to your various hypnotherapy techniques. You are a blessing. God speaks to me through other people so I’m careful to have a thoughtful group of friends. Happy new year to you and your lady. ❤️💜🥰
