I remember one night back in ... 2003? Maybe 02? I was dancing in the crowd at the Roxy night club in New York City. I had a conversation with a nice fellow in the crowd, just dancing, like me and everyone else. After about an hour he taps me on the shoulder and says "You have to excuse me, I have to go to the DJ booth, my set is about to begin." It was Armin Van Buuren, had no idea who he was. Very humble. Went in the booth with him, spoke for about 5 - 10 more minutes, he gifted me "Out There" by Robert Nickson on white label. I still have that record :)
But I don't let that that feeling , of me also becoming like armin overwhelm me because you see the time was different, he was the one who started TRANCE and basically he and other legendary djs are pioneers of electronic music therefore I just embraced it and stop that's over there.... myself was not included anywhere .. And these big things happen accidentally not necessarily by someone's ambitions and desires See anyone Martin, diplo, etc .. They just did what they loved and worked hard and after that comes ... , you know

Man I loved this documentary. I'm 49 and I'm just starting LOL :-D. Look at the Rolling Stones: these guys were on stage in their seventies. You're too old when you literally drop off the stage man! Keep rocking, Armin! What you did for the trance scene, no one did. We're afraid that if ever you quit, the show is over! And that can't happen.

At the end of that day, I remained with 25 magical videos which I rewatch over and over again. Armin van Buuren is the God of Electronic Music and he is born on 25 December which means something. Thank you Armin van Buuren and may we see your magic at Neversea 2020! :)
