Those were high-wind gybes and what we have found is it is a lot safer if the sails come over one at a time. Most of the time it is no big deal, and we bring both sails over all the time in light and medium breeze. But in big air (and waves) we take a more conservative approach. The little bit we lose is more than made up for by being and feeling under control.
Great technique and cool hats!
Thanks.
SO COOL. GONNA BUY ONE FOR ME.
hey if i send you a vídeo you would post it?
Why is the jib backed in the gybe? Does that help control the turn?
