What a great idea! I just happened to be looking in Elizabeth Zimmermann's Knitter Almanac for the baby surprise jacket, and it's in the Appendix as a "phony seam" - hadn't looked at that book in years! Love your podcast and your wonderful knowledge.
Thank you! I try to not do the seam where I have done a m1, but do not think it would be an issue, you are working with the ladders of the sts and wether you made the ladder or it was there makes no difference. It will not make a difference with short rows. Thanks for the great question! 💚
Hello Kimberly even though I don’t knit 🧶 i like to see it and your voice is so calming. Miss you 😘
Hi beautiful Sara!! I miss you, but love that we still get to ‘see’ each other through social media. 💚
Great tutorial...I shared it with my group.
Thank you Joan! I sincerely appreciate your sharing the video 💚
Wow this is so cool! Thanks for the great video!!!
My pleasure, thank you for leaving a comment! 😊
Great technique. This will come in handy when I want to knit in the round when pattern calls for knitting in pieces. 🌞
I’m thrilled this helped you!

I love all of EZ’s books… I learned so much from them all those years ago. Thank you for being here and leaving a lovely comment 💗
Thank you very nice , I’m working on your pattern. the Lovely Tee
I’m so excited you are working on that pattern… I love that one… hmmmm maybe I’ll make a long sleeved one for the winter!!
Brilliant!
I’m glad you liked it Noreen 😊
I love that. I have in the past added an extra stitch on each side or centre of a sleeve and purled it to form a ‘seam’, That looks much nicer.
I’m glad you like it Rosslee, thank you for your comment 😊
That’s great. Does it matter if you run into a placewhere you did a short rows or a m1?
