WOW. I use to go there back in the 70's. My brother's girl friend got pranked there by 'Candid Camera.' FM area was a great place to grow up... kinda. Remember The Old Broadway restaurant. My first job in 75.
Moorhead has new development starting part of the mall is now demolished and soon the whole mall will be has downtown expansion to be a small version of fargos and a new library!
This mall was not helped when Bon-ton the owners of Herbergers declared bankruptcy in 2018 and closed all their stores including Herbergers which was the malls primary anchor.
R.I.P., Center Mall. You gave it your best shot, but even larger malls in the country have died or are getting close to doing so. IMO, losing Herberger's was the beginning of the end for MCM. That store was their sole remaining 'anchor' store, and a smaller mall can't survive without one. Columbia Mall in Grand Forks, ND looks like it's headed in the same direction. Sad.
Going next week on Saturday August 20th.Mainly a toy guy for my self.I think It is called Parrie bricks & I think Both Parrie bricks & rebel toy box is in same place.
I don’t agree , this mall was great . I remember coming here all the time & made a lot of great memories here . It still could’ve been great but I don’t know what happened to cause all the stores to leave .
@@moniquecharbonneau5903 it was great but they demolished their brick historic buildings to build this mall. Fargo didnt. Now look at what is happening in downtown fargo. Moorhead will never get that opportunity

Gone but not forgotten.
What was the store with the orange at the top at 2:15? It has vintage appeal that brings back nostalgia for me.

Sad to see but moorhead made a poor choice to demolish their old buildings and build a mall instead.

Does Moorhead even need a mall? They got a much nicer bigger one in Fargo. This mall is so bland and dated.
