      They are doing all kinds of annoying wierd things with comment section,the adds spin the comments back to beginning making it impossible to read normally. That's just 1 of the odd things seemingly without reason. I'm not getting email notifications any longer or notifications consistently if someone comments specifically to me,that's totally random.

      I have heard this case covered by others and thet point out that detail. Even despite the mom, what that doctor did was extremely inappropriate. There should have been a lot more testing and other treatments before major surgery.

      I was confused how she convinced someone to do it. My son has a feeding tube so I'm in facebook groups for kids who are tube fed and some of them actualky needed the oricedure. But it took years of testing and trying different methods, different foods, and medications, switching what type of feeding tube they had, how much and how often they eat, etc before the doctor decided to do that procedure as a last resort. To hear someone who didn't need it got it done just because a parent lied about his health is crazy

      @@shirleymarie2288Sounds like they want to take a lot of other steps before performing an invasive surgery. And that certainly would take up a lot of time.
      It makes this a little scarier (to me) that a doctor was willing to just go ahead and perform the surgery.

    This kills me, it's so incredibly heartbreaking. I lost my 12 year old son in 2012 to cancer. He was so strong and brave, never complained about surgeries or weekly blood work, not even about chemo. The only thing that terrified him was getting an NG tube placed. He absolutely hated it. He said it hurt and made his throat hurt and he felt weird. Thinking about everything he went through, it was so hard for me to watch him get those tubes placed, because I knew how much he hated it. I took him all over the world in search of something that could help him, he had a very rare type of cancer that Children's Dallas, never even heard of. I bargained and begged every entity I could think of to help him. I would have done anything to keep him alive.....then there's this woman. So disgusting, there's not even an adequate adjective to describe it.

      sadly enough our wicked and heartless society doesn't see anything wrong with abuse until theres a death! children or teens can be just as cruel and self centered, and get away with it, there was a young teen she had no heart no compassion, her mother told her that her boyfriend was a thief and no longer welcome, so daughter says to bf kill her so as the bf was stabbing her mother to death she took a 9in butchers knife to her 5 yearold sister, heres where the catch to the story is her daddy like biden had political standing and power, and as biden did with making the prosecutor and judge who was trying to put his boy away for life disappear her daddy did the same thing diplomat immunity from any type of prosecution, the bitch never seen the inside of a court room and was just held long enough for daddy to get her off and yes she had just turned 18 a month earlier, as for the bf a 15 to life sentence, in prison reality a death sentence a week after he entered prison other inmates heard of his heartless crime, and by the next Friday he was standing before the judgement throne of Christ! the future of country is one of concentration camps, i see my great grandchildren facing gas chambers live cremation's if biden get his way!

    I took my 5yo son to the ER because I thought he had the flu. After his initial workup, I noticed the security guard post himself right in front of us. It went right over my head. Then I noticed the nurse's talking to each other and watching us intently. I got this crazy hot feeling come over me and tried to stay calm.
    The next thing I knew, this young Dr was telling me that they have contacted the state out of concern that I was abusing my son. I told him fine, because I knew that was not the case at all and I will take the police myself to my house and I welcome the investigation. Ten minutes go by, and the Dr tells me that since they already made the call to the state that the investigator is coming right away, that they can't call it off. But they now know that he really is sick and they are sending us to the children's hospital because they think he has lymphoma!
    25 years and a bone marrow transplant later, I can still feel that crazy hot feeling come over me anytime I think about that day in 1998!! My son is doing very well and I hold nothing against the hospital for making the decision that they did. Infact after watching this, I'm 100% sure that they made the right call!!

Factor 1/primary psychopathy is a neurological difference and there are some prosocial examples such as surgeons or CEOs who don't commit crimes. Factor 2/secondary psychopathy (sociopathy) is known to be associated with a confluence of early childhood environmental factors like violence, poverty and crime.
      Whether someone is incurable, evil, and/or can be trusted around other people are 3 different things thst should be evaluated independently of ec other.

    Munchausen by proxy is, to me, one of the most fascinating and devastating forms of psychological abuse a person can subject another to. This poor baby only knew this life as unnecessary suffering, and at the hands of the one person he ever knew to depend on and trust. It's sick. And it's maddening that people saw and recorded it 3 times before he was even 6 months old. The type of person who would do this to their child is inconceivably evil and a fundamentally broken and wrong human being, in my book. It takes a special kind of monster to be so self absorbed they exploit their own flesh and blood as a pawn for their own sick satisfaction.

    • @siaradahlin5035
      @siaradahlin5035 2 роки тому +20

      I agree 100% but I don't think they do it on purpose or that they are that evil and twisted that they get satisfaction from their own child suffering (maybe some do) I think they really believe they are try to take care of thier child and or bettering their life's by attracting all this attention and support, in their own sick mind they really do believe they are doing the right thing, which is hard to understand, mother's who suffer from this are crying out, but in the wrong way, but they don't know how else to show love to their child or themselves, I am truly fascinated by this mental illness as well.

      @@siaradahlin5035 I'm sorry I cannot agree that a mother purposefully putting salt in her son's feeding tube, literally poisoning the kid, is at all concerned with the child's wellbeing and not her own pathological need for attention. It has nothing to do with the kid. He was just a doll to her to use as she wanted. Granted, I'm sure her mental illness comes from somewhere, but it doesnt in any way make it less abhorrent or more understandable. They cannot honestly think they are doing the right thing. Some woowoo types do have the kid in mind and are just inadvertently harming them with their beliefs, but there is no way that that mom was doing anything for that kid, who she literally tricked into existence to be her doll. Like, how do you *give* someone an ear infection??? Let alone a newborn, let alone literally every child in her care, which is known, and still not acknowledge those huge red flags

I've even taken care of at least one patient that is attention-seeking for medical care (not just pain pills which is very common) and the doctors can communicate across different campuses there. I've known about this insane disorder for a long time, I have no doubt my oldest sons grandmother his dad's mom had this, if it wasn't her being sick it was making an nuisance out of herself over one of her kids and everything they had when they were little, she had 4 so it was a lot of unwanted information. She thrived off reliving anything they had, I always wondered how much illness was real or a lie or caused by her. @@OOhlUkaTmEImGanSTain the US most insurance will either cover a majority of your bill or rarely cover it 100%, for Lacey if she has insurance, with all the visits she took it would still come out to thousands of dollars in debt bc there’s no way to pay it all off in time especially when you’re going to the hospital every week/a few times a month, especially for the surgeries. She most likely let insurance cover most of it and then let the rest turn into debt. You CAN find programs that help with medical debt, but most Americans let their debt sit and never pay it. One tried taking mine after some issues with getting a birth certificate because the f-king notary was too lazy to do her job. They told me over and over that the child was fine and clearly was being loved, yet they demanded weird personal information from me, heavily implied that they didn't believe my baby wasn't mine and that I stole her (WHILE I WAS BREASTFEEDING HER RIGHT IN FRONT OF THEM). That they "may or may not" take her away. They called the criminal police on me because they doubted my ID, the cops came and looked it over and pulled the main woman worker aside to say he didn't understand why he was called and that it looked fine...
      Thanks to those creatures, they robbed me of the first 3 months of enjoying my baby. Making me so stressed out that I would never see her again that she got so much baby acne from my breastmilk that she looked like a little lemon. They forced me to go to places and doctors and specialists so that I can "prove" that I was pregnant and gave birth- despite every doctor telling me they cannot do this- while I was still recovering from my birth, and we had no car. I had to walk several kilometers for this for weeks almost daily to get something that no medical professional could give me for them anyways. (And I didn't even HAVE to do it. But they dangled the fear of not seeing my baby again so that they can influence me to do so. Later on I got so tired of it that I refused to cooperate and said I won't be grilled and interviewed about private affaires they had no business knowing. They then made a big show of "calling their supervisor" and demanding random papers like my birth certificate, proof of insurance, proof of residence etc and so forth. In the end, I didn't give them any of it and they closed their "case" when the notary got around to giving me her birth certificate anyways...)
      At this point, I want them abolished. They never do their job. I gave those very same people several tips about my neighbor who repeatedly neglects, verbally and physically abuses her child, lets strange men in her apartment, has had a literal p**do inside there too, has had a person pass away after partying with alcohol while her baby was just one room over... I said all of this, they claimed they will investigate and yet nothing happened... But somehow my issues with a lazy notary gets first priority?? HOW??

    I'm really alarmed at the number of medical procedures this baby had within a very short time of first seeing a doctor! I have two kids and both suffered from a lot of ear infections. My youngest had so many that when she was almost 5, her doctor and I started discussing tubes if she got many more. Luckily, when both kids turned 5 it was like a light turned off and there were no more-the doc said that was actually pretty normal. I especially am appalled that he was given two medical procedures to 'stop his vomiting' after seeing the doctor for the first time. There seems to be alot of docs doing procedures to get paid by insurance or medicaid! Usually children are followed closely for a few months and you sure don't call a child 'failure to thrive' based on a couple of visits. A lot of people dropped the ball with this poor baby by no following up on referrals and by rushed medical procedures. I'm shocked some of her MySpace friends weren't starting to smell a rat!

    • @JessicaO490Z
      @JessicaO490Z 2 роки тому +5

      Unfortunately failure to thrive simply means his weight and growth are not on track. It's not actually a high-risk diagnosis to give. But usually the first steps are addressing nutrition not surgery. In this poor boys case he was probably underweight and under size because of his mother. (She likely either watered down his formula or starved him)

      Doctors aren’t doing it to make extra money. They’re doing it because if they fail to treat in a timely manner it can open up a legal Pandora’s box for failure to treat in a timely manner and negligence. When they hospital hop, they’re aware privacy red tape can make obtaining information difficult. And Medicaid pays at discounted rates. Doctors don’t make that much off of those payments individually.

This would have saved this poor child as well as all the other children she's harmed along the way I'm certain.

    I have a family member who had this and the victim was my mother. Thankfully she didn’t lose her life, but she was often in the ER and half of her one lung is non-functioning, she was always peeing blood, her bones didn’t form right from malnutrition, etc.

    Holy hell. I clicked on this because I recognized the hospital in the thumbnail. Didn't think it would be about someone I went to middle school with.

    I absolutely LOVE this channel’s intro. It is iconic. Legendary. Right on par with the essence of the channel and its content. Just the hearing of these few piano notes and I’m all in. 😍
