Seriously CGL. This looks awesome. If I didn't have a newborn in my arms right now and needing to keep my budgets tight, I'd be backing your Kickstarter. I can't wait to see what the painted minis are like and I hope I can buy some in the future!
Shouldn't the french cruiser be UN-able to fire at the german cruiser with his bow cannons as its not in the firing arc? About 16:05 into the video. The JD should only be able to fire with its port cannons, unless I missunderstood something.
I think they explained a simpler version of the rules, but on the board they use the full rules. The bow gun is turreted (T symbol), which allows it a much wider firing arc.
@@Xione Okay that explains it. It should be mentioned as I found it confusing. Still can't wait to get my hands on this. Seams like an easy to play and teach game.
@@theofficerfactory2625 Yes, but the specific shot that Lars mentioned is only possible by not ignoring the turret rules. On rewatching I also noticed the shot is at range 6 so I think Randall also used the wrong die, blue instead of yellow.
great video thank you, here is a little hint on the pronunciation of Jeanne D'Arc avoid all the phonetic E's you are using. so pronounce it like this, Jann Darc pronouncing the A's as you would in the word apple. Hope it helps.
This makes me sad. I watched for this game to come back for years and just discovered that I missed the new kickstarter. I can't find anywhere to buy the game.

I am glad to see there is a way to turn even if you're movement gets wrecked and you're in a bad angle.

Are there PDFs to print to use for paper ship cards? Dry erase is not always practical.
Yeah the dry erase ones won't last forever so having printable ones like battletech seems ideal in the long term.

They did say there are turret rules but they chose to ignore those for this demo.

Ouch. I'd start withdrawing the Jeanne D'Arc at that point once her coils are taking hits and crew is down.
Does it have any advantages that these ships are "flying"? There is no up/down (as I can see), they are always at the same level. Correct?
