I played this record over and over again on my little suitcase phonograph as a 4 or 5-year-old in the mid-1960s. So much so that the record became badly scratched. The songs here resonate deeply. That cover photograph was the stuff of my childhood dreams of Italy.
Well I am Having that glass of vino CJ, and listening carefully and am enjoying really I am!!! All those all time memories of my Grandmothers House are rushing back into my mind! Same music, different time. Thanks for the memories my friend, Marilyn
@totallyamazing36 Hi Marilyn, I'm so glad you are enjoying the italian music. I too remember these songs from my grandmother's house growing up. These records are actually from her collection and were passed down to me by my Uncle Nick. He knew how much they meant to me. I was really SHOCKED to learn that you never heard my earlier E. H. post. There are alot of obscure tracks like that hidden in his Parrot LPs. I'll be sure to post more for all of you. (as long as UMG leaves me alone LOL) CJ
Dang that's funny...I'm also having a glass of red wine listening to this. Designing a set of Italian Villa townhouses on CAD for a development. Nothing better than some awesome inspiration for some creative juice.
I removed it...I really didn't know it was on here. I don't know why some people are such haters....guess they have nothing better to do. Thanx for bringing to my attention.
