The late 60's to the mid 70's not only were Richmond the best side going around there were the toughest and most brutal side to ever play the game. Brings a tear to my eye to think about it....EAT EM ALIVE!!!
My old man said he could play .... but had a hot temper which he found hard to control....my old man used to me when I was a kid that despite his theatrics Croswell was one of the best footballers running around....circa '76 -'77
Anyone is entitled to be friends with whomever they like as long as they realize that if you sleep with dogs you'll catch fleas. It is right for a club to distance themselves from the dogs and fleas but they have no right to tell individuals to distance themselves from the dogs if the dogs are their best friends.
Scraping the bottom of the barrel. Met him down in Hobart in 2015 at the Salamanca markets at a local cafe. Tried to cut the line in front of me. Total flog.
@@ayatollahofarocknrolla403 You mean what would you know. He was playing for Richmond during the glory years but never played in a premiership, couldn't get a game in 73 and 74 GF. Played in the 72 GF and was totally thrashed by Geoff Southby. Never got a touch. His role was to bash defenders. Only ever kicked a goal on poor teams. Any decent back man that played on him, towelled him up every time.
@@frankmachin5438 hahahaha.so he had one day out, wow, interested to know what year this was. Played for Richmond in the early 70's. Never played in a premiership and hardly got a touch up forward in the 72 GF where the Tigers kicked 22 goals and they lost.
