If you are having a hard time finding the right binds to replace, look at his binds while he does the tutorial to get an idea of what you can replace for (preferably L stick) switch mode. I just removed squad augments and I immediately understood how this tutorial worked.

Change your switch mode to something else like like before a long time ago I had one of the arrows as my switch mode or u could remove a bind, you don’t need like “squad comms”
you can make your edit and your switch mode to whatever u think is a good bind, You could make your switch mode to whatever you want and edit whatever you want

Replaced Squad Augments with sprint like he did, while it takes a little time to get used to, its honestly worth it lmao.

I made my switch mode to the right plus thingy ( dpad ) and then i got a controller with back paddles and configured those to jump and switch mode

When I switch my bind for switch mode it unbinds whatever I had it as before and I don’t have a free bind so what do I do
Tysm bro I reset my binds by accident and because they change the settings i didn’t know how to turn off hold edit
How are we supposed to build if we disabled switch mode/edit hold time? That’s the setting to build
You have to make your edit and your switch mode into 2 separate binds
Basically put the edit hold and switch mode on like O and then put separate edit button as l stick and u can switch with O and edit with L
