What a lovely hobby I have come across today. When I looked over your video I instantly got the feeling this is for me to not only relax me but to make rugs for my house I'm going to have built. It is a log cabin construction and a rug in a dew rooms would make it homeley and giving it a feel of being able to relax in front of a nice log fire in wintertime.. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for the video.

I used to make the rugs all of the time after buying the yarn kits from the store already marked. I just hated when it ran out of the certain colored yarns while making them. But all in all, it was lots of fun.

I wanted to let you know after watching this video I decided after I finished the rug kit I was working on that I would create my own shaggy rug. It is huge too. We do not have the same kind of canvas here so I could not do the beautiful stitching on finishing…I tried It was too flimsy. I am using a super soft yarn and it is working great. I made stencils so they would be the same size in the pattern. I also latchhook in a different method. I rap the yarn below the latch. Then bing latch they and then go under and over and then pull down. I thought I would mention this for others who might want a different method. I also cut out cardboard for the yarn for cutting vs using my hands. I wanted a shorter yarn. Trimming what you have hooked when you have a design complete makes it look better polished. Thanks for the video it was helpful. I hope you make more
