I had ordered the Olen VR stock and got half of the items for assembly, and customer service that would rather mock me in my errors than help. After watching this, I realized this stock is much cheaper in price, yet higher quality since it doesn't seem to be made out of 3D printer resin. I think I'm going to give the Protube a try since I'm still without a stock.
would love to see more comparisons. This one is actually cool. one to one, what is the + and - for each. Those two are very similar though. The next vid on the topic I would like to see, is a top mounted vs bottom mounted (Sanlaki vs ProTube). I would compare a winner gunstock as a baseline, so comparing to ProTube would be good. Off course here I learn that Glistco has its pluses. After You and the audience would find out, that the bottom mounted stocks are superior ( :) ) I would like to see a true tests. What does KobraVR doing with all those models? Is Mamut any good for this price?
I think I’ll spring for the Carbon magtube Edit: update, it came in the mail today and it took a fair few hours to tweak it to a point I was happy with. Definitely longer setup time than I expected; I guess I’ll see if the performance improvements are worthwhile.
@@MyTechGearGamingif you still have the kiwi design extended grips, the optional cloth grip covers fit perfectly on the butt of the stock for some much needed added comfort.
Personally I don’t find comfort a problem but that’s a good tip for people to consider. Definitely stick with it and practice as it takes a while for muscle memory to kick in and get really good with the gun stock. Enjoy! 😊
Ordering from the UK/Europe you're better off with the more premium product from ProTube. After taxes, import fee's and shipping it probably works out the same if not cheaper. Also.. No Pico support.
Why are you not getting a cheek weld on the stock for either stock? Is it user error, or is the design such that you can't actually use the stock that way? Seems like a major oversight if the latter is true.
You could use the top of the shoulder stock as a cheek weld if you wanted to. You’ll might find that the vr headset would get on the way though if you want to have it that close to your face. Give it a go though and let me know how you go.
I did see there are much more breakages on the glistco than the protube after about a few months. Apparently these breakages are common according to long term amazon buyers.
I think it depends on how you treat them. I don’t think the glistco one is as strong as the pro tube vr one but it is significantly cheaper. I’ve had both for a while now and they’re both still working fine.
Yes you can select the quest 3 version. It's exactly the same, it's just the mould for the controllers that is different to fit the different controllers.
Bro I just got the Magni stock+ It will be here the 3 aug. I will 100% get the protube but... Where I live the only option was the Magni stock+ at this moment. Im gonna use it for Ghost of Tabor. If you have not played it.... You are totally missing out on a great lot of fun! I would almost dare say it's a waste of money you don't use it for just that game. It's so good man. And it only just got out of alpha almost. Also very nice video! Very informative and to the point. Just how all reviews should be. :D

How loud are these when you put the cups back onto the stock? Is it metal on metal? I usually play after my kid has gone to bed down the hall.
There an audible click but I wouldn’t say it was loud.

Not at the moment. If enough people buy it then I’m sure we’ll start to see accessories released for it.
