They really missed an opportunity not promoting this song. This was a #1 r&b single, if you ask me, shoot..... That melody was everything. Please Don't Go and Uhh Ahh are all I need from the first album. That long head man in the yellow can *sing.* I always favored Wanya, but he gets down too. Good performance.
Straight fire Shawn is a beast love his tone wish he would go back singing in his natural register. Sounds full and rich. Same as today I think he’s sings softer now.
This is the exact thing I've been saying to myself for years. His tone here is dope and now he sings so soft that I can't stand it. I've always thought he was one of the dopest vocalists and still do, but this sound he has in this video is what he should go back to. Here is another video where he sounds like this, and I think this one I'm posting here is after this performance here. ua-cam.com/video/j7pa2tJEMTY/v-deo.html
Reason why I love Boyz II Men is this song. I fell in love with Shawns voice and I had to get the album. This was literally a year after they came out.
If y'all think Shawn voice is nice with this song from "CooleyHighHarmony" y'all should hear his verse from "under pressure" or the song "little things" or "visions of a sunset" he did for a movie soundtrack back in 96 or 97..Wanyá even said he loves Shawn's voice because of loves how smooth and silky it is, and that's coming from the lead singer!!!
I remember when this came on tv. It was on BBC 2 in the UK a one off thing called Soul by the sea, some sort of celebration for Motown. It was the first time I saw Boyz II Men and I waited months for the album to appear and bought it the day I saw it in the shop. My brother and I played it on repeat for most of the evening, i'll never forget that.
I remember this on TV l had it taped played it too death sadly lost the vhs tape.I have been looking for this for ages so good to see it after all this time.
This song actually won a soul train award in 1993 even though it was never officially a single
Shawn has one of the most beautiful voices
wanya too, 2 powerhouses in one group
They all had beautiful voices wanye was my man. Damn if Brandy could date him. I guess I could too.

Visions of a Sunset is beauuuutiful.
There's no lead singer in Boyz ll Men, it's democratic (they all interchange leads).
