I hate how with the time that it was cancelled, we couldn’t even get the highly anticipated Amelia season! That one would’ve at least felt more like a finale!
17:31 That's not a biome changer, it's a time changer. Before, they used it to change ecological eras which affected how evolved the aliens were, and now Ryan used it to reverse the damage caused to Morgan.
Infinity Train is one of those odd shaped gems that is really appreciated when you have the chance to turn it over and see all of its different facets.
So sad it’s over, this show had such potential and beauty and I’m so mad for the treatment it was given by HBO Max
Not getting social cues and not being able to read tones is part of autism. Asperger is the name of Hans Asperger, who was a n*zi (not part of the party but part of n*zi groups) and separated autistic people in two groups : the ones who were "intelligent", who could be useful to society and to the party (by ableist standards of course), who were allowed to live, and the others, who were sent to die. "Asperger" was later on used to call the first category. But it's not an official term since 2013, because there is no difference between "Asperger" and autism. The word is sadly still used but shouldn't be, considering its meaning and history. Important to mention too, a lot of autistic people diagnosed as Asperger use that diagnosis to distance themselves from other autists, carrying the "legacy" of Hans Asperger. That's called Aspie supremacy. I'm not saying all of that as a personal criticism at all, I just want to inform people. (I'm autistic too btw)
I do really head canon Kez as autistic. Also, you might not wanna use the term asperger's, it has a very weird and nasty history (WWII). Lot of us on the spectrum do not like the term, yet that was the oficial diagnosis we were given but I think it is outdated now. I still do recommend looking into it yourself tho.

As I said, many of us still get that diagnosis so we can understand when other people don’t know. I did not know until a few years back, so I used to use it for myself.
Out of all the shows that got the cancellation treatment or write off disrespect from WB, this will always be the top example. This was hard hitting, each book had a theme, you could relate to a majority of the cast, and it's just beautiful with its aesthetics. Gone to soon, but I am glad you reacted to it nonetheless, as it helped me find your channel and I'll continue watching, even without the infinite locomotive. Got a new train to hop on, and that's your channel 😊
I still hope this show can come back some day. This is such a cool universe that deserves to be explored more. I would love to see a season that focuses on Amelia, and one that focuses on the cat.
There were indeed intended to be 8 books (because the infinity symbol being a sideways 8) - though Book 5 was intended to be a movie as opposed to a season. And as everyone has already said, Book 5 would have followed Amelia on her train journey, so much like Book 4 is a prequel to the rest of the show, Book 5 would have been even more prequel-ly.
The plot for Books 6 to 8 haven't been revealed (to my knowledge) - just some of the intended themes - but I presume at some point we might have caught up again with present-day Amelia and Hazel.

As someone With Asperger's myself, I can say that yes, Kezz definitely has it. It's such a shame Owen Dennis wasn't allowed to continue the series further. After the "breather" season this was, he planned to focus on Amelia in season 5, and it would've been the darkest yet. We should've at least gotten that before CN gave it the axe.
Really? as someone with Asbergers I really don't feel it, no special intrests, no going into the zone, no sensory issues or stimming, and then it's her short attention span which is ADD not asbergers.
2:19 - Do you like the Among Us game? If yes, then the creator of Infinity Train is working on an Among Us tv show.
9:27 - I am not sure if this is a theory, but I think the reason Amelia programmed the Steward to remove those shoes from the passengers was to prevent them from interfering her plans to find a way to create a car with Alrick alive. Also when Ryan and Min’s numbers were spinning around until it set back to 202 like that was Amelia resetting the train to be under her control.
11:05 - The sad part about seeing Amelia’s takeover of the train in Book 4 is that Book 5 was going to be about her and it is a completed script just sitting and waiting to be made.
11:15 - I think based on what I learned from people who worked on the show about this scene is that it was an error and they didn’t have time to fix it.
13:38 - You definitely made a good point about those types of thoughts. Everybody has them, but it is up to them to decide whether to make good or bad choices.
I was really saddened when I found out that Book 4 was going to be the last season of Infinity Train. I still love Book 4’s story about two friends who did everything together when they were young and dreaming about being a band. Then they drift apart due to some life complications and by coming on the train, they were able to communicate what they really wanted and mend their friendship. What I love the most about this story is Ryan and Min-Gi were able to pursue their band dreams. Also whether anyone sees them as a potential couple or being friends, I believe that Ryan and Min-Gi are meant to be together because they need each other to achieve their dream. ♾️🚂❤️💙🛎️
It may seem frustrating knowing Infinity Train has been canceled, but I believe that there is a glimmer of hope that the show may have a chance to come back. Owen Dennis said that if he posted Book 5’s script to the public then all hope for creating more Infinity Train would be lost. Since it hasn’t happened yet, there is some hope. Even though, he has moved on to other projects; he is still talking with people about finding a way to make more Infinity Train. I really hope that day Infinity Train comes back does come true. Thank you for making reactions to Infinity Train. Watching them is like being able to experience the show again. 😊♾️🚂

Skipping ahead a bit to remind you there are also a few short episodes, they deserve your attention. Probably all of them in a single episode, but still.
Watching your reactions to this show was great! It sucks it didn’t get to be made in full, but what was created turned out fairly good. Season 3 has to be my favorite too, it just explored so much and was pretty darker in the topics in comparison to the others. Even if this season wasn't as flamboyant as the past ones, it was still pretty enjoyable in my book for what it had to offer.
I'd forgotten how suddenly the final season (and thus the series) ended.
It's a real shame, but... at least it was here.
Little personal theory about Jeremy here. And about Amelia in a way! 'cause, we know her husband died and all, right? But we don't know HOW he died or anything like that. And Jeremy got involved into this accident, but we don't know if any other cars were involved in that accident.
So little theory would be that Amelia's husband was also involved in that crash and also died. That would be interesting, if we had a 5th season and Amelia visited Morgan's car and learned about all this.
Only flaw in that theory is that Jeremy's been there for, like, 5 years, and Amelia doesn't look like she's been there for 5+ years in there yet. But then again, 5 years is not that long, she could have been a passenger for that long, too. So who knows?
Anyway, just a theory, based on very little, but I'd find that interesting!
Yeah, they wanted a breather after how intense season 3 was, but if they knew they were going to get cancelled they certainly would have done something different.
this season was def my least favorite compared to the others but I still really loved it. infinity train just hits different and Ill die mad about it being cancelled

Season 5 was supposed to be about Amelia and possibly supposed to be a movie instead of a season if i remember correctly? I'm so mad it didn't get anymore seasons it's been 4 years since I watched it but I'm still upset it was shortened
Unfortunately as there was supposed to be a book five but the owner of wb got rid of it as an tax right off even though book five was supposed to be the darkest book to date

Infinity Train is greatness that fell victim to HBO Max's executive crap. It's sad that it had to end when it S5's production had already made decent progress. Hopefully we get to yo see the Amelia movie eventually
After Infinity Train comes infinity pain, because we might never get a new season.

To give some morsel of hope. The creator of Infinity Train said, that if he lost all hope in ever getting to finish the show then he'd release the full script for Book 5. As a reminder Book 5, the movie about how Amelia took over as conductor of the train, was already written an storyboarded when the higher ups pulled the plug. The only things left to do were recording the dialogue and actually animating the movie then releasing it. So don't lose all hope yet Mosco, I know I haven't. Cause who knows maybe if Owen succeeds with the Among Us cartoon, which if you didn't know he is the showrunner for, maybe executives at Max will reconsider and resurrect Infinity Train!
