Brother magnitude owner, when you storage your RV don’t forget to turn off your fridge and crack slightly for air to exit also push button off on your inverter display because inverter still has voltage to it and could cause a draw, I had to learn the hard way. Fellow Omni owner Lou.
On my camper I have to disconnect the batteries. A tpms system and the antenna would drain my batteries even with the kill switch off. You might check the antenna is off. We are looking at selling our pull behind and getting this coach.
We have a 2021 Magnitude as well! Out on our first trip and we have learned (and fixed) a lot of things. Thanks for sharing all that you have. We checked things that you've had issues with and guess what... Same issues! BTW check your breaker labels. Ours are shifted by one spot. All labels are incorrect.
@@DidWe We couldn't understand why we were on shore power and the house batteries were not charging. I looked at the breakers and the 'converter' label was over a blank (no breaker present) spot. There was a breaker tripped that was marked 'general receptacles'. I reset that breaker and the house batteries went from 11.2v to 13v immediately. When I looked closer, I realized the the labels were shifted.
@@lastj20 HI. Correct. Same issue on this end. I am glad we found out. However, I am seeing a battery drain on the house batteries when I turn off the master switch. Do you have the same issue?
@@DidWe Yes. I see that too. In one of the Thor videos (Getting to know your Magnitude I believe), they said there are still things draining the battery, especially if you leave the inverter on (both Refrigerators will run) and other items, radio etc.
My wife and I purchased this RV last July and we are still taking it back for RPR’s, our warranty is up but we have a extended warranty and we’ll see how that works but if you do purchase one I recommend spending a little cash to have an outsider inspection guy do it regardless of what the dealership tells you cause we found issues that needed to be resolved before taking home, as of today we have still to repair both end-caps front & rear where they connect at roof to reapply caulking and top rails to be replaced because fastening screws pulled out, not under warranty if you exceed past 6 month’s they don’t tell you this so have it checked before 6 month’s, so we have to ante-up and pay for exceeding the warranty, we thought we had a year warranty on this, just a heads up fellow future owner, but all in all we are really enjoying our camping experience cause it has really been a joy setting up and packing up in a matter of an hr rather than hrs. If you know what I mean.
I like that rig, but don't like the radius shower. I've heard that Thor quality is lacking. One reason I like that rig is because it is on a Ford chassis, being a former Ford salesman for over 22 years.
I am confused about the sanitation wash for the grey and black tanks. Do you actually use a black hose to the white receptacle by the outside shower so you can get the jets to spray while dumping the grey and black tanks? My previous RV actually had a black sanitation plug and was self explanatory.
Hi. There is a hose connection for the back flush. When we try to run water through it…there is a block. Thor believes the check valve might have not been installed correctly. So I asked where the check valve was. To my surprise, they told me it was in the wall by the shower for some reason.
Thanks for your reply and information, so to be clear you actually plug your back flush hose into the white receptacle by the outdoor shower to do the back flush? I was thinking that this white hose receptacle was used to fill your fresh water tank if you didn't want to use the one on the other side that is gravity fed. thx
I usually dump both black then grey, I have a short hose connected to that fitting at all times so I don’t have to disconnect and reconnect every time I flush, but yes you need to spray black tank for a few minutes then drain, I also recommend applying atleast 2-3 gallons of water back to black tank using that very hose & connection and then apply your deodorizer liquid or drop pouch in toilet so while driving it will wash the walls on your black & grey tank, don’t forget to add a couple of gallons to your sink.
Nice video- I am going in this coming Tuesday February 4 to make an offer on a 34SV - do you have any suggestions for me when I set down to make offer?
HI. I did not have much luck with them on the prices. I was able to get them to lowed it around 1% off their promoted price. That is why I had to pickup the RV in the middle of the country. By calling around I saved $20k. Plus a lot of dealers have these RV Prep fees. The one I purchased from did not have it. That was a $1,500 savings too. From what I am seeing every quarter the price of these units continue to head North. This being the case, if the unit you get has a lot of issues are you refuse to take it…the next one you find is more than likely going to cost more. This is true of most all manufactures from what I am seeing. Just a strange time in the RV world.
No, I’ve tried and it’s not worth hitting you A/C ,check actually height on building verses you RV before entering, there are a few truck stop washes which wash manually with brushes but you may need to enquire how the brushes they use cause they could be very course on bristles, maybe you can bring your own if you ask them. Fellow Omni owner Lou
Fellow owner of Thor Omni or magnitude, the refrigerator cools much Quicker then the propane/electric fridges, I usually can start introducing food in about 8 hrs of turning on, there’s a knob inside your fridge and can be adjusted, we Usually adjust to #4 but if really hot outside like 100+ dg. Max it out and try not to open frequently. Have a great time Lou
@@louieromero5692 Thank you - if you turn it (the inside refrigerator switch) on the evening before - what else do you have to do? where is it drawing the power from? Sorry to ask all this - we've had many RV's before this one but it's not operating the same as the others! We love it though.

One more thing... The Garard hot water heater has a sensor that will turn it on at 38 as long as it is on and has water in it.
Good to know. TY

This is a great video for newbies. I am buy a Thor Omni RS36. Sorry about the loaded question but would you buy this RV again?

Research your water pump before adding an accumulator tank. Some manufacturers don't want you to use it with their pump.

Do the TVs work woyhout running the generator?
Yes, all 3 of ours did. You have to have the inverter turned on. They are not DC only TVs
Thanks for this information and video
Does the outside fridge work off the inverter? Thanks
It's in storage right now. But yes...I believe it does.

Thanks
