If you still have this problem, try this: double-click the script. After VS being opened, right-click on you solution and click in "Reload project with dependencies". It worked for me.

Great video! I'm sure I'll be back again in a few months since this happens every time I start a new Unity project.

The External Tools method helped me so much! Before that i had a Problem with some of the Functions like "Private void Awake" i had so many Errors until i saw that i didn't started the function name with a capital letter

Yeah man! Has everything changed in just a month or so. There's no Tools in Visual studio, what is that, i have none of the menus you have. and there's no Game Development for Unity anywhere.. They recommend C# omnisharp but that is bugged to fuck and that is why im here. what's going on? did you record this in 2017 as your installation says and released it now?
@DJKorou As far as now i searched about it.. "Visual Studio code" and "Visual Studio" are different softwares.. I also didn't had any auto completes/suggestions when written - But then i download visual studio 2019 and now works fine for me!

Yup, installed Visual Studio with Unity Hub and it didn't configure itself into the script editor. Video helped get it working again!

One thing you can try is to make sure you have Visual Studio installed and not Visual Studio Code.
