i been out the game for about 30 years, nothing much has changed.. apart fron dead maggots..? i never used those..... im saving the fishing for retirement i still got the intrest in it.. nice vid but a lot more than id spend on bait for pleasure fishing... ijust wannna sit in a deckchair now waggler fishing for general course fish.... i do wonder if i will get the match bug back..?
great vid.. well..i did get back into it.. and i have the match bug still in me for silvers... but my 55 yr old eyes are not so good now, im a bit fumbly with hooklengths etc..and pairs of glasses for rigs and then general fishing are needed now and thicker tipped floats...i am enjoying small waggler fishing on a mixed fishery lake, not fussed about huge hauls of carp, its still very much a novelty for me to catch a 5lb carp amongst my mixed leisure day.... might try a match in 2021 if situation improves with the corona bollox.... i rekon des could have got the same fish bang in the middle or at 7 metres even... 14 metres is hard work all that pole shipping....
These guys get it all free as its there job. We are just normal working people with possible low income so how can we afford to pay in excess of £50 per session. These videos are not for the normal angler.
@@MrARichards25 If you can point me in the direction of any kind of angling advice videos by Des that don't just sell products but offer advice that would be great...
Des’s think fishing articles and videos are brilliant and not product endorsement heavy. He uses Preston and sonubaits gear but then he is sponsored by them so he is going to.

Used to like Des Shipp, used to be really good with his tips and advice. Now he's just another run of the mill salesman. Sad really...
stoikes on a video promoted by sonubaits and ergo Preston innovations, what were you expecting?
