    Years ago I thought UA-cam was not my thing. Now it is a priceless resource. I have been watching ride videos to the point where I don't need a test ride. I am not sure about the new super stiff frame but the tbi/balancer engine is enough to make it all good. Engine can make or break a bike purchase.

    Great riding! The first run was all about getting your mind and balance right - the second run showed way more commitment and it was your real riding abilities at work...excellent job! Okay, bike wise, wait until you get that 24 XCW, that thing will be butter through there!

    I want one of those vests for when you gotta bring all the gear.
    Lately I have been minimalist, and went to an EVOC hydration hip pouch! This thing is great and you can run it with the magnet and clip to your left hip, but I prefer to run it with the leatt helmet hydration setup.
    it's got enough space in it for a few bars, 1.5L of water, and my tool roll, pump, and plug kit so is great for the dirtbike. My dualsport, I'll still use the bigger leatt chest protector/pack and bring the tube/irons/battery :-/ but also more water

    You're doing good Morgan a couple people have already said something that I would like to mention, try to breathe a little bit more and maybe work on some upper body strength other than that your Technique is pretty good. Keep up the good work 🤘

    hey Morgan, little tip. try going a little faster and not lose momentum when approaching an obstacle. trust that your suspension and throttle it before the obstacle

    • @highlandcycles
      @highlandcycles  Рік тому

      Thanks man. That is usually how I operate. But I’m trying to get better at going slow. My normal MO is to pin it and hope for the best 😂🤣

      @MrJacksmithFTW Рік тому

      @@highlandcycles I'm not saying to pin it but try to maintain a constant speed but a little faster. You don't need to go slow for hard Enduro. Just believe your suspension

    You’re doing great, you should work on weigh and deweigh your suspension you will save a lot of energy by letting your suspension do all the work by hopping over obstacles

    TBI, as you know, is a difficult hard enduro bike. Even in the white map it’s too powerful for average skilled riders (like me). I have a 23 TBI and a 22 TPI. The 22 is detuned by screwing in the power valve and makes whiskey throttles less painful and expensive 😂. You’re doing great and I enjoy watching and learning from you on and off the bike.

    Grip with your legs more. If you are running out of upper body strength do peck deck flyes and wrist curls.

      When I am on a trail ride When I am coming up to a rough section I usually see the guy ahead of me fighting the bike. I select the gear, check up on the throttle, squeeze the frame as hard as I can roll it on and let the custom valving stacks do all the work. Learn how to hang om with your legs so you can give your upper body a rest. Try volteran anti inflammatory gel on your forearms. 10 bucks a tube. It used to be 100 but you can get it over the counter

      @@highlandcycles gotcha. Another question- i have a 2012 kx250f- just rebuilt the entire engine so it has only 9 hours on it. However- the frame is origional. My fork is leaking bad. I mean pissing on the wheel when i strap it down. Is it ok to ride like that for awhile till I can rebuild them?
