My husband took leaves from his job and took care of our 2 yr old whenever I needed during my thesis preparation and he makes coffee for me. He also made a whole meal and brought it to my home when he heard that my mother had been sick before our wedding. He also makes me sandwiches and that doesn’t make him a girl, he is more a man than anybody I know

My dad never helps my mom in any chores though he sometimes feel that she is working too much..Stereotyping is preventing him from doing those things..He got used to that mindset

These ads are provocative in the right way. I appreciate the message and creativity. Contrary to the most ads and companies out there who are trying to gain followings from normalizing and feeding their own cultural taboos into them. We need more like this. These ads mostly addressed gender based discrimination. I heard that recently an ad has been withdrawn by Tanishq because it showed Hindu-Muslim unity. This is really sad.
to me, the visuals and the blaring noise (so called music) totally killed the message. . at-least in the context of the other adverts in this bunch.. it really seemed to more dehumanise the target audience. . it's like.. if i scratch my crotch in public or pick my nose and then an advert says something highlighting it.. it would make me even more conscious. . women tiding themselves or being conscious of not get ogled at or have sexual glances coming their way.. I think that was the message. . . but this presentation kind of messed it up.

Nikhil, these were topical and/or low budget campaigns.. thus ran on only specific segments. I stopped watching TV few years back, but at someone's place.. did see the Disney TV and few of the other adverts most of them (i think) are within the the 30sec or 60sec norm

Love the way society is changing attitude towards girls and women. Recently saw a 70s movie rajnigandha and I could see how much girls today have changed. Knowing your mind, following your dreams and being assertive are qualities not just reserved for boys. Being equal will lead to a healthy balance and healthy society.

Love the way society is changing attitude towards girls and women. Recently saw a 70s movie rajnigandha and I could see how much girls today have changed.
