My memory of the Santa Rosa to Albuquerque was cold fierce headwinds. I think it’s something like 5,000 to 7,000 feet. I know Flagstaff is 7,000 feet. I woke up in Santa Rosa and stopped in Laughlin NV with slow traffic from Flagstaff down to almost Kingman because of snow on the road.
What an adventure! I just subscribed this week and have been binge watching this trip. We got our Roadtrek van a year ago and are looking forward to some epic trips, too! Stay safe and continue to enjoy your journeys!
You guys did really "Awesome "on your two week trip !!! The van did great !!!👍👍👍 I am so happy for you guys ..good team work ..and great video !!! 😁 Looking forward.. to seeing the new items.. you have purchased.. for your new van 🤗and more exciting trips!!! 😊 🤗😁😊❤️ Good night 😴
A new subscriber here from Canada. Really enjoy your videos. I like hearing about your Ram Promaster Campervan. Your commentaries are very good. What are your feelings about having the front wheel drive? Am thinking about buying a campervan but looking for some thoughts about the front wheel drive on a campervan. Thankyou ! keep the videos coming!.
A fast, furious, and fun trip for sure! Glad you had safe travels with the crazy “lemon rv” as my hubby and I call your vehicle. It would be fun if you did a video on how you plan these trips where you hit a lot of states. Thanks for sharing your journey! ❤
I totally felt you when you said ...you could see doing this full time! We just got back from our first big road trip to AZ in our new truck camper and we loved it so so much! We just want to hit the road for a long time 😅 we were so sad to come home too. We trying to figure out how to work and be on the road at the same time. Do you two have jobs that would allow you that? Excited to see your next adventure. We leave on a 2 week truck camping trip to Cali next.
How fun! We both have full time jobs…Hillary runs her own business out of our home and could do it from anywhere. Bob works 4 days in the office and doesn’t have the option to do remote….yet lol. But we are working towards it…have fun in Cali!
@Vancaskeys Exact same here. I work from home and my husband works from home but still trying to figure it all out. 😅 happy travels to you on your next adventure!
Such an awesome trip! We enjoy your videos so much and inspired us to start our own channel. We also are in the RecVan/La Mesa fam, but Cali edition. One thing we found, the Ford Transit is wayyyyy better to drive than the Dodge Promaster. Have you test driven any other models?
Get a gym membership, that way you do not have to stay at RV parks to shower! I have planet fitness black card membership, can use all their gyms, nation wide.
Enjoy all you're videos, but I think this is the first time I'm commenting b/c I gotta know: where did you get that jeans jacket? I mean, what brand is that? It's awesome. Wondering if they make a men's version.
I have never seen some one with as much energy as you Ms !
Cold rainy days are tough. Hard to fight the urge to pull over and crawl under the covers.

Subscribed! We are class b wannabes, and I think you guys and your trips are gonna be similar to our adventures. Best of luck to you!
Awesome! Thank you! We were wannabes for a couple of years before finally pulling the trigger 😂 We totally get it!
You were killing me on day 10. Bob must have been a long haul trucker in his previous life. Too long of a day! Not too far to Phoenix.
Haha! Right! What were we thinking???
I've been viewing your videos for a month or so now & realized I wasn't subbed. Sorry... done! Great video thanks!
Awww thanks! We appreciate this so much!

Wow! That’s awesome! We will go follow your travels! How fun! No we haven’t driven any others models…we should have 😅
@@Vancaskeys Happy to share what we learned!
😀
What's that pot Bob's using for the biscuits?
What is the pan you used for the biscuits. I would love one of those
Its an Omnia Oven with a muffin ring.
Sad its over
Same
What was the pan you used to cook the buscuits on stove top

Such a great idea!!!
I now know for sure that 5,000 mile in 2 weeks is way too much! What is your preferred number of miles to cover in a day? I'm set on 300 max.
Haha! 5K was too much! I would say 500 should be our max.
@@Vancaskeys when I was a traveling nurse I would go 700 miles a day to get to the assignment sometimes. Now I will likely go far less.
Did I miss it? Did y’all stay within your budget?

Hahaha! Love this! It’s from Nordstrom. It’s the Trucker Jacket from Free People 😃
Over 5000 ft in elevation contributes significantly to the cool....
True!
You’re both too cute! Really enjoying your adventures … thank you. 😃
Thank you for watching and enjoying!
How much does it cost to over night at one of these parks.
I strongly suspect the budget numbers won't be pretty :)
Hahaha! You are correct!
How do you get internet on the road?
At this point we just use our phones.
U didn’t check no fuilds .
Oooh weee old set up
