9:59 so basically back when boys planet was happening taerae used to play the guitar and sing for his roommates and other people from the room next to taerae came over to listen to him playing the guitar. so in the clip taerae is playing the guitar and YUJIN who came over sang a song that he made up. you can see a bottle of water on the bed in front of him so he just started singing waaaterrrr pencillll to the melody taerae was playing. hope this helps 🥹

Here is a little info based on what you were confused about: They were participants of the survival show Boys Planet, where they placed as the top 9. Hao and Hanbin were fighting for #1 basically the entire show (besides Matthew at the beginning). They ended up getting close due to that. Hao ended up winning #1, followed by Hanbin. Matthew and Hanbin actually knew each other for quite a while before the show, which is why they were joking about if Matthew was jealous of Hanbin and Hao (because they act flirty a lot and at the start of the show they kept bringing up Matthew and Hanbins previous friendship). The Jiwoong comment was because during the show they started showing Matthew and Jiwoong being closer than Matthew was with Hanbin at the time. Yujin is the youngest but he acts pretty mature and introverted for the most part (even though his MBTI was actually E). Technically Hao was the only introvert. Ricky is actually rich. His mom, I believe, is a model who has her own company, and his dad makes a lot too. Jiwoong was actually a BL actor before this! He also debuted I think 2 (maybe 1) times before this, but they disbanded. You should see their performance on Boys Planet, they are very cool. They originally came from different agencies, but as members of ZEROBASEONE they are under the agency Wakeone Entertainment. When Matthew jokingly said he was jealous of Hanbin and ZhangHao's chemistry, it was because from the start of the audition, Matthew and Hanbin looked very close. They have known each other for a long time before Boys Planet.They previously trained at the Cube Entertainment agency then left, and then are at different agencies now individually but they are very close like brothers. Zhaghao gyuvin yujin and Ricky originally came from Yuehua entertainment. This is the first time in a survival show that 4 people from the same agency can debut. omg hi baby zerose! ofc boys planet is important in their journey but it's a very long watch and doesn't really showcase all of their personalities that well. as an alternative (or rather addition) I recommend watching the predebut side quests vids from letters of rachel, the zb1 inside jokes videos (first three that pop up, esp the newest) and the boysplanet iceberg video to get some context to boysplanet refs! after that I cannot recommend you watching all of their variety stuff enough, esp amazing saturday (3 eps), camp zerobaseone (their first show after the group was formed) and their own show zbtv! they are the funniest loveliest guys ever ❤
someone else also said this but yeah i dont rlly recommend watching boys planet first if u want to get to know zb1 lol. some members were purposefully showcased/edited a certain way that doesnt really match their real personality (and some just got barely any screen time😭) once u learn more about the group then i definitely recommend watching it though!! :)

I think the reason for their confidence is that almost all of them were famous before they debuted. Zhang Hao was super famous at his university in China (his background is a story in itself) and he was his university's poster boy. He waqs accepted into two top ranking schools. Sung Hanbin was part of a dance crew, a dance teacher and a lot of famous Korean dancers openly rooted for him in the show Kim Jiwoong had already debuted several times and was a rising actor in BL movies Ricky was a pretty famous trainee and Gyuvin was also well-known for his looks Gunwook had already participated in a survival show a while back so he was a familiar face

They all debuted from a korean idol survival show called Boys planet. They all are the final top 9 among 90+ trainees. They debuted for like only 6+ monthes. They all are from different companies. Except Hao, Gyuvin, Yujin and Ricky, they are from the same company. But Matthew and Hanbin were friends cause they have trained in the same company before. The other didn't know each other before. They only met in Boys planet. So basically the whole group known each other for like 1 year.

Gunwook always being teased as his performance during Boy Planet first audition in 1st esp , his look horrifying, but he is just a giant baby in real. TaeRae vocal is incredible, but he is the only ‘T’ person in the group, somehow straight forward, TaeRae even remind his fans their banner was held upside down during music show. Here is a little info based on what you were confused about:
They were participants of the survival show Boys Planet, where they placed as the top 9. Hao and Hanbin were fighting for #1 basically the entire show (besides Matthew at the beginning). They ended up getting close due to that. Hao ended up winning #1, followed by Hanbin. Matthew and Hanbin actually knew each other for quite a while before the show, which is why they were joking about if Matthew was jealous of Hanbin and Hao (because they act flirty a lot and at the start of the show they kept bringing up Matthew and Hanbins previous friendship). The Jiwoong comment was because during the show they started showing Matthew and Jiwoong being closer than Matthew was with Hanbin at the time.
Yujin is the youngest but he acts pretty mature and introverted for the most part (even though his MBTI was actually E). Technically Hao was the only introvert.
Ricky is actually rich. His mom, I believe, is a model who has her own company, and his dad makes a lot too.

You should see their performance on Boys Planet, they are very cool. They originally came from different agencies, but as members of ZEROBASEONE they are under the agency Wakeone Entertainment. When Matthew jokingly said he was jealous of Hanbin and ZhangHao's chemistry, it was because from the start of the audition, Matthew and Hanbin looked very close. omg hi baby zerose! ofc boys planet is important in their journey but it's a very long watch and doesn't really showcase all of their personalities that well. as an alternative (or rather addition) I recommend watching the predebut side quests vids from letters of rachel, the zb1 inside jokes videos (first three that pop up, esp the newest) and the boysplanet iceberg video to get some context to boysplanet refs!
after that I cannot recommend you watching all of their variety stuff enough, esp amazing saturday (3 eps), camp zerobaseone (their first show after the group was formed) and their own show zbtv! they are the funniest loveliest guys ever ❤
someone else also said this but yeah i dont rlly recommend watching boys planet first if u want to get to know zb1 lol. some members were purposefully showcased/edited a certain way that doesnt really match their real personality (and some just got barely any screen time😭) once u learn more about the group then i definitely recommend watching it though!! :)

Hao became the first non-korean to very rank 1st in a korean survival show 🩷🫶🏻✨ made history, he is also pretty good in academic too, tbh Zhang Hao was originally enrolled in the China University of Geosciences which is one of the top 5 best colleges for Geoscience in the world and he took the Gaokao (NCEE) at the mere age of 16 Usually the test is taken at 18 btw. And he entered college at 17. But then he decided that he didnt want to pursue Geoscience and took up the violin. He was originally discouraged from playing it since he wasn't very good, but then went under severe training for 6 months and then retook the CSATs for Arts and placed 1st in the Fujian province and entered the Fujian Normal University as a Music Education major, he was also very popular back then and the amount of pictures taken up of him by the students were carzy 😭

- gunwook participated in a survival show before called „wild idol“ but got eliminated
- zhanghao was a violin teacher and also played at weddings etc. also placed number 1 in the CSAT for arts in his whole province
- zhanghao gyuvin ricky and yujin were all trainees in the same company „yuehua“ so they already knew each other while participating in boys planet
- same goes with matthew and hanbin, they used to be trainees in the same company and hanbin was the one who convinced matthew to participate in boys planet as well
