I've got to say, I like this new show. Is it better than the old? Nah. Is it a fun replacement? Yes. Definitely has more soul and understanding of what made it's predecessor great than the last classic they replaced a few feet away.
Its better than the 2012 cut version but not as good as the pre 2012 uncut version, they really outdid themselves with the dialogue and banter from max buff and melvin, they have a much bigger presence
I gotta say, the bears' movements/expressions and country arrangements of popular Disney tunes are refreshing! I'll still miss the crude jokes in the original show though
I understand that it was necessary under the circumstances; but one thing that does make me sad about the change is that the legendary Thurl Ravenscroft is no longer part of the attraction. Even if you don’t know his name, you know his voice. He was the voice of Tony the Tiger for over 50 years and sang “You’re a Mean One, Mr Grinch” He used to be found all over the Disney parks; but now, with the removal of his role as Buff here, the only attractions left that still feature his iconic voice are the Haunted Mansion (Grim Grinning Ghosts) and The Tiki Room (as Fritz)
I think what has so many people upset, is that unlike the Country Bear Christmas Jamboree or the Country Bear Vacation Hoedown, those were obvious overlays, this show is a whole cloth redo, from the name of the show to the color of the bears eyes... It's obvious this isn't an overlay, this is a "permanent" redo. In my opinion, it's fine. It seems a little claustrophobic and the timing rushed, but it's fine. I love the new figures motion capabilities, I HATE the fact the bears have human eyes, that's just strange. I think Trixie probably shouldn't have been done up like the town trollop and Oscar, what did they do to Oscar, he now looks like a bear orangutan hybrid... Having stated my opinion, I'm just glad the show was saved and isn't going anywhere for the time being.
Hey how many preshow lines do Buff, Max, and Melvin actually have before the show actually starts? I saw in another video where Max says "You can smell the excitement in the air!" and Melvin says "Naw, that's the churro I had earlier!(burps) Oh excuse me..." Did they say that when you were recording this?
We heard a few different lines throughout the previews, but because of the limited attendance they presumably weren't able to get through all of the pre-recorded lines as the audience loaded into the theater quickly
@@disneydanny2stop with the misinformation, if they were to use the splash pneumatics for one the bears would not be this fluent, not be as new, secondly the splash figures by the end of their run were not fixed one last time as they were left to be in disrepair, many of their pneumatics had the clear sound of clicking and popping to deterioration especially with the moist Florida air with the moisture of the ride itself damaging the pneumatics making them basically useless unless they were replaced, so even then those pneumatics were useless and weren’t able to be used in the bears, and the size of the pneumatics wouldn’t give the bears the fluent movements they have now
its pretty cool, but it doesnt beat either previous version. my least favorite part is try everything, especially with the new costumes they gave Trixie and the triplets. I dont like the pink very much, its not flattering on them and why did they need to switch to pink anyway? (edit: The pink's starting to grow on me, i think it was my bias for blue talking)
Dull, dull dull. Would go and see it once to just have seen it, but not a second time. Why can't they actually sing the songs in their entirety? Do people get bored that easily, nowadays? This whole attraction just makes me sad.
If They Sing The Whole Song, We Would Be Sitting In There For Over 30 Minutes or More, And No One Wants That, So They Have To Shorten The Songs Chuck E Cheese and Rock afire Explosion Did The Same Too There's A Limit Of How Long An Animatronic Show Should Play For, It Has To Be 20 Minutes or Less
It’s the worst song they picked for the show, some other song like I’m almost there could have been chosen for trixies personality, and a different song for the sun bonnets
Of course they HAD to include a song from Frozen and it’s the worst and most unnecessary one in the entire movie. Who asked for Fixer-Upper to be sung in this attraction? Why did Disney think that was such a good idea? (In fact, who asked for Country Bear Jamboree to be given a permanent IP-based overlay? NOBODY, that’s who.) Fixer-Upper is just one of the many, many reasons why Frozen’s the WORST and most OVERRATED franchise of all time. When will the insanity ever end? At least Let It Go was excluded.

The new programming in this show is CRAZY (like the fiddle section??? Super impressive). They really benefited from upgrading the animatronics.

Great job👍🏻🥰 Disney did something right 😊 The old show holds special meaning 🥰 but the new show is a good update👍🏻😃 Thanks for sharing 🤗
The Bear Necessities is Perfect!
This is a very good new show extremely colorful big al is very funny the way he plays and he cries just hilarious!😂
The old songs were a better fit for the country bears.

it might interest you that the bears were rebuilt using parts salvaged from the Animatronics that used to be in "Splash Mountain"

This is a great update/refurb. The bears look new and fresh, the material is more modern, the music is perfect and it's all just done flawlessly!!!

I prefer the old country style songs and theming. This is just modern Disney songs, sung by the country bears. The country appeal is lost.
TBH the show is pretty good; my only complaint is that the songs are a bit too short.
Is Melvin Voiced by Roger Craig Smith?
Yes
They really missed the opportunity to use this one…
