When you all have played at Pompeii more than 50 years ago, you, Mr Mason was in such a great form... You were the center of the band and you've deserved that... We can feel your joy of that moment, that greatness, you were leading Pink Floyd to this gigantic form for ever and ever... You all turned Pink Floyd the biggest form of art, immortal, unbeatable... You had reached the most perfect state of grace in that point... Every single time this song plays I become stunned, confortably numb... Thanks for your perfection! Cheers from Brazil!
I saw Nick Mason last wensday in Ostend with his band. It was unbelievable amazing good. Loved it every minut. And i am gonna see David Gilmour in October in London at The Royal Albert Hall. Can't wait Last year i saw Roger Waters in Antwerp. Greetings Dirk Belgium ❤❤❤
I was at this gig and really enjoyed it, the third time I've seen Nick's Saucerful of Secrets and probably the best so far. I thought Gary Kemp's guitar work on this (Echoes) was great, and the Royal Albert Hall was the perfect venue.
Great video, and amazing performance from the band. So glad to have seen a member of Pink Floyd play this live (I'm right there at the centre of the front row!), it's one of their best.
thank you for recording this, and you did an excellent job of moving the camera around, including at least in the early parts giving the keyboard is his dues. Keyboard are always always ignored just like Richard was. You did an excellent job of showcasing Nick Mason, which is exactly what we all wanted to see. Thank you.
Haha the Grammar police 🚨 is are on you 😂 Seriously I'm with the other guy on the GILMORE as so many people do it & he's been around 60 years 😂Ps seen this performed 87 in Manchester Maine road was the longest day of the summer & played this & band agreed poor David said they missed a Grumpy bass player Qoute! Then I seen David & Rick's last performance in UK Albert Hall and show before Gdanks final 2006 the sound in the Albert Hall was best live performance & been lucky to see them as Floyd Solo but thought I'd share that with you for some reason 😂 Remember it's Gilmour 😂✌️👍
@@Sean_ED There is in fact a David Gilmore who is a highly respected Jazz Guitarist, it’s not Grammar either it’s the simple fact that it’s his surname and spelling it correctly shouldn’t be difficult, I saw Floyd at Maine Road, it was 1988 not 87, you really do have accuracy issues, Earls Court in 1994 and I saw all three shows at the RAH in 2006, by the way the Maine Road gig was on the 1st August so not the longest day of the summer.
@RushfanUK You really are thick was 8th of August 88 longest day of the year so you went a year earlierya muppetv 🤣& would like to see my pidid you see the pig 🐖 malfunction & yes earls court I was ther on the 20th October 94 Saturday 2 nights after pulse filmed! I was joking about Grammar as could not care I was out of school at 12! Anyhoo so what wad the show like in 87 was it good 🤣 Think you seen BILLY GILMORE 🤣 Rush hasn't seen Floyd ahahahahahahahahahaha ahahahahahahahahahaha ahahahahahahahahahaha It's GILMOUR How's them APPLES 🍏😂
@RushfanUK ahahahahahahahahahaha YA fraud you haven't seen Floyd you saw Billy GILMORE 87 😂 You weren't at the RAH either if so who was guest 2nd & 3rd night no Google! See the wee picture 📸 just one of many with the Floyd guys! Little Seaniebhoy had good contacts & no need to lie & see earls court I litterly missed half that show very little memory as consumed alot of substances! Always the saucers or Brit Floyd Aussie Floyd for you! Enjoy
This is ok but not how it should be, I've seen Floyd many times live but in my opinion Echoes Knebworth 1975 is the best version I've ever heard live and always will be.
Don't have to be exact. Guy has been singing back up on David's solo stuff and both post waters Floyd tours for quite a while. This is not a copy but a really good rendering. I'm lovin it.
Roger’s beef is with David and his wife sadly, he has no problem with Nick, they “get along well”… if that was David playing there would be hell to pay, no pun intended…
Putain!
I think it’s stranger to see it without Richard Wright being g part of it. Kudos to Gilmour who recognised how important it was to have Richard as a part of the ensemble to bring g this masterwork to life in a live setting.
This is like listening to a cover band and the song should have stayed retired. The last performance David and Rick did in 2006 was the best version of Echoes. Also Rick had his trusty Hammond Organ and the Farfisa Organ.
As I have seen David and Rick perform this in the Albert Hall & Pink flyod 87 lapse tour! The Albert Hall ticks last London show before Gdanks was on an insane level David and Richard telepathic both in my opinion! Remember 2006 that's 18 years ago WOW that went fast. This is OK I enjoy Nicks Drums & rather him play than the cover bands like brit flyod etc but yep not great without Dave and rick! 6 Regards 🍀✌️👍
Well one half of PF if you count Guy Pratt as well as he was a permanent band member after Waters flounced off - TERRIFIC MUSICIANS the vocals however can get a bit Chas and Dave unfortunately.
Very poor show-PULSE was Excellent,Fantastic and Perfect concert from Pink Floyd.Without Gilmor?Without Roger?...what is it.....O.K. Nick-but he's just drummer-nothing else.Good Luck.
Saucer full of Secrets was all about the Syd Barrett era of songs from 1967-68. This is just a glorified Pink Floyd cover band. Saw Think Floyd (an actual PF cover band) a while ago and they were a million times better than this.
So glad to know that at least one of them is still playing this song live, i still have a chance to see it
I saw it two hours ago. It was mind blowing, astonishing amazing
Montreux in 6 days time too👍
@@cigaloumusic enjoy! I hope you'll enjoy it as much as i did
I saw them two years ago i Zagreb, have no words...
And was fantastic!

I was there for the live event and it is still a magical momentary lapse of reason 🙏
Lee’s guitar work is just fantastic. Better to hear it live
Tonight😎

Really need David Gilmour to complete the show.
That really is the killer, all time artisan, raw version of Echoes at thend of time. Fan-bloody-tastic! My thanks to the band.
I was at this gig and really enjoyed it, the third time I've seen Nick's Saucerful of Secrets and probably the best so far. I thought Gary Kemp's guitar work on this (Echoes) was great, and the Royal Albert Hall was the perfect venue.
Guitars here are superb!
No one can play this song with the same feeling as Nick does.
Great video, and amazing performance from the band. So glad to have seen a member of Pink Floyd play this live (I'm right there at the centre of the front row!), it's one of their best.
It was such a great gig,Amazing!
august 1st in Frankfurt. 2nd time seeing them . Such a great band.

Many thanks for your kind comments
Tomorrow in Portorož Slovenia🤗 Can't wait
Yesterday in Munich! Brilliant show ✨✨✨
Everything is green and submarine. "Live At Pompeii" at the midnight flick after bar time once again. Thanks Nick.
One of the Pink Floyd pieces that just won't go away. It must have an almost eternal soul.
Brilliant!
Me gustó esa versión Guuaooo
Fantastic!
This is amazing so sad that Waters and Gilmore egos are so big mainly Walters he alone killed Floyd thank you so very much for sharing ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Fantastic album too 👌
Come to play in Rio, Mr Mason! Please!
Incredible
Still waiting them here in Brazil
Echoes live at Pompeii for me !!
Yeahh, and that was the best performance of Nick Mason as a drummer
@@3_x3x364 great how he recovered after dropping his drumstick !!
glad to see gary kemp!
I saw gilmour plays this with wright on island tour.
Dla mnie to Einstein perkusji!!!!
❤😂😂😂❤❤❤god bless all
Good but nothing comes close to David Gilmour’s live in Gdańsk version. In my opinion obviously 😂
didn't David gilmour say he'd never play this again after Richard wright passed?
This is ok but not how it should be, I've seen Floyd many times live but in my opinion Echoes Knebworth 1975 is the best version I've ever heard live and always will be.

NIK MASON FOREVER❤❤❤
PINK FLOYD THE BEST❤❤❤❤❤❤
Gilmour unic solo
great guitar solo. perfect through the line of the original album but with a great sound. imho original album did not have a great production.
Roger’s beef is with David and his wife sadly, he has no problem with Nick, they “get along well”… if that was David playing there would be hell to pay, no pun intended…

Not by David as echoes got retired out of respect for Rick Wright! David will never play the song again! He said it on film many times🍀✌️👍

Is that Guy Pratt on bass?
Yes it is.
Now Waters,now Floyd…

Some armchair critics with nothing better to do out there. Do they have as much to say about RW's retake of DSOTM? Now that's genuinely ghastly.
Les notes du guitaristes sont faussent !!!!!
Well one half of PF if you count Guy Pratt as well as he was a permanent band member after Waters flounced off - TERRIFIC MUSICIANS the vocals however can get a bit Chas and Dave unfortunately.
He was never a member of Floyd.
Played all the right keys, not necessary in the right order!! Sounded shit
