everytime i see you doing toptier CAS the enemy SPAA just ignore you, but when i do it a tunguska, flarakrad, ito and ADATS just slap my plane

Such a fun BR, great vehicles and still somewhat slowed paced! So sad a-10 cannon got nerfed though 😢
With 1k rounds it isn’t a big deal
Su-25 should go up in BR. There's no reason for it to be 9.7. Compare it to the A-7s and A-10s it becomes pretty apparent that it should be 10.3-10.7.
@@Blanchboi what are you smoking, the su25 only advantage over the a10 is its speed, which isnt actually that much of an advantage when its still slower than almost every single other plane at that br. It get worse ordinance, worse missiles, worse flight performance besides climb and top speed. And only has 2 missiles, when the a10 late gets 4. The a10 early also gets mavericks, which are better during day atleast, than the loadouts the su25 can get. and the a10 late straight up gets better loadout day and night, as its mavericks are ir so they work at night. Now the a-7's are in a very weird spot, mainly because they get access to er walleyes and a thermal targeting pod, but everything else is significantly worse than every other plane at 10.7 and in the current state of the game I honestly believe its not much better than the f4e or a10 for cas, the a7d&e are useless during the night compared to the a10 late and f4e, and especially compared to other nations top tier cas jets.
@@kingderpington6082 You underestimate how important the speed is. The Su-25 also gets R-60M(K)s, which are much better for headon and close range engagements. The Mavericks on the A-10 are very temperamental depending on your AoA, speed, and type of maverick (the D variant has terrible sights). The Su-25 has much better dumb rockets, and the Kh-29/25s are braindead easy to use (much less finicky than the mavericks).
What the Su-25 is is a subsonic Su-22/17 with all aspect missiles. And when we say it's subsonic, it's almost as fast as the A-7s.
It's also worth noting that the A-7s do not get all-aspect missiles.
@@Blanchboi the aim9l are superior in every way to the r60mk, even for head ons. And yes guided weapons only work if you use them properly, but that doesnt mean they are bad, also the guided rockets on the su25 have less zoom than in third person, and dont automatically track targets unlike mavericks. Idk what you mean by braindead easy to use, the mavericks are lock on from 6km or further away for the a10 late, and even if you lock the ground, if it detects a target within 3.5km it will automatically guide itself towards the target regardless of what/where the original lock was. I also think a7 (e&d) should get aim 9l, tbh I hope in the future they will buff them cause its really needed. The speed is super situational and in a lot of air rb and for cas, the better turn time that the a10 has is more beneficial.
First of all, excellent work in the frogfoot. I do have a question though. How do you beat the manually guided radar missile AA i.e. the Tunguska, Roland, ADATS, etc.? Every time I try to take cas out in top tier, it's like skynet is watching me. Cant get close enough to use my stores without a serious risk of being detected and shot down.
Su-25 is 9.7, there is no reason to play it at 10.0 or 11.0, play it at its BR .. and you will face less effective SPAA than ADATS or Crotale. Thank you so much.

@@HEATSEEKR Haha I didn't mean that lol, well in general your RWR is your best friend, checking scoreboard to see how much friendly SPAA, pinging enemy spawn and use targeting pods to scout and see is there enemy SAM or not .. this is all while side climbing 12km away from the battle, then when you feel you have a good chance to destroy an SPAA not paying attention or being busy with another target you start your glorious dive.

Make them auto jettison in options. They added the option recently.
What about the Kh-29L is better than the Kh-25ML? I looked at the stats and it just looks like it has a shorter range and no benefits. Is there something I'm missing?

Sometimes I use it when I know that there was a tightly packed group of enemy tanks.
@@majo3488 Yeah, I carry it for shots like the Sidam kill in this battle when you have no good zoom, just depend on a smoke trail or a scout mark .. the indirect hit could still destroy the target thanks to the big TNT equivalent. You might also need it with MiG-27 for one missile double kill strike.
@@Hunter_i86 Yeah, got a quad kill this morning with the KAB-500L on MiG-27K because there were 2 FlaRakRads, 1 XM975 and M247 at the small spawn zone of Berlin.
I landed it right between them snd because of the 320 of of TNTeq I got them all.
I get some hate mail in return and then two MLAs (from a squad) that spamed me with R-24s.
My shot wouldn't be possible with Kh-25MLs but because I looked up their spawn with my recon drone before I died I knew that I should bring a big boy.
How you can see your target so far away? I have to be closer to fire my missilea

I feel like warthunder is getting really boring.. they keep adding wrong things to the game, we have the same problems for 2 years and nothing seems to change and I don’t think it will change at all which is really unfortunate… but with every update they are releasing my hope that they some day adress the really BIG problems in this game gets less and less.. if it keep that way I don’t think I’ll play it at all in future
