You have to admit, though, Mr. Moseby from the Suite Life series is a very hilarious and the most relatable character ever spawned! Like, he often seems he’s not even acting because of how realistic he is!
Ginormously funny, esp. at how less funny the jokes are for all the "studio audience" laughter. One thing that could've used: an "aw" track after Chalmers says, "...but you steam a good ham".
An argument could be made for either idea for this video: do you use a wide array of audience reactions and laugh track variants to nail the authenticity, or use only 1 or 2 laugh tracks to both emphasize how tiring the "live" audience gets and to also highlight the fact that this is a shitpost first and foremost.
It's good that we remember the whole scene, line by line, because with that audience laughing like crazy it's kinda hard to hear what the characters are saying half the time...
Part of the fun here is trying to figure out ahead of time when the laugh tracks kick in. This is every bit as (presumably intentionally) painful to watch as anticipated, but simultaneously very entertaining. Great work!
Gotta love how Skinner and Chalmers stop and wait for the crowd to stop laughing. Reminds me of how the teacher stops and waits for the class to stop talking.
All it needs is a bit where Seymour appears in a white background and says "I'm Seymour Skinner, and you're watching "Skinner and the Superintendent", only on The Disney Channel!" and then he draws the Mickey mouse logo
Just a fact: Laugh tracks were created because shows used to actually have a live audience. Without the audience, it felt empty. We're long past that now, so canned reactions are merely annoying.
@@cubicinfinity2 I mean, shows could still have a live audience, the problem is that most shows that they could come up with now wouldn't be funny, and so the audience wouldn't react how they wanted
Shows like Seinfeld actually had a live audience and to be fair, it's not really that bad when the audience is live. It takes away that phony element of "So THIS is what the producers want me to laugh at." What is annoying however is the actors waiting for people to stop laughing before continuing with the scene.
I'm from Connecticut and in my hometown, they have steamed cheeseburgers. The meat and cheese are actually cooked in a steam cabinet. They're the best, tastiest burgers I've ever had! I wish I could get them here in Florida!
Steamed hamburgers is - actually! - a regional thing in Connecticut. "Well I'm from New London County and I've never eaten steamed hamburgers." "Oh, not in New London County, no. It's a Hartford County delicacy." "I see."
I love when the actors have to either wait for the live audience to finish laughing thus ruining comedic timing and timing in general or keep talking and making the lines inaudible
After enough time their laughs loose meaning and begin to sound like nothing more than squeaks from that one guy in the background who’s higher pitched than everyone else and little bursts of wind when the crowd overlaps.
There are three immortal things on UA-cam: 1. Never Gonna Give You Up 2. Bad Apple 3. Steamed Hams Edit: Good Lord, you guys are taking this too seriously.

I wasn't expecting this version to be funnier than the original Steamed Hams sequence but the part where it is revealed that smoke is coming out of the oven coupled with the laugh track and the long pause really made me giggle
This video is ALMOST perfect, but it could have done with some sounds besides the laugh track. Like a crowd gasping at some things, or a little "aww" here and there
