This great that you actually speak Bulgarian, I see foreigners go here and like they do a good job but man it makes a difference that you actually speak the language
Looking forward to the next video! 🇧🇬
I do have have some Bulgarian blood but I was born and raised for 18 years in France so I do feel more French. But I'm also very proud of my Bulgarian roots!
It still makes sense because the Romani people originally came from northern India around 1,000 years ago and then migrated to Europe and beyond - and so I don't know if they are present in Iran as well?
Roma are present in Iran also the original comment makes so much sense as Roma travelled through Persia after leaving India which would explain the similarities in appearance

I am Dutch but also have a Bulgariian parent and lived in Krasna polyana neighbourhood which is next to Fakulteta. I also have been walking through Fakulteta several times. The main street which goes from the entrance of neighbourhood where bus 72 stops all the way untill the end is safe, with many shops, hairdressers and food. I wouldn't go there at night though. The people generally are warm and friendly but lack of education and very low income leads to crime. I wouldn't even want to translate what these kids asked you to say (choram te moste) which is really dirty. I don't speak gypsy language but know a few words.
You got a whole team escorting you through the streets and keeping you safe 😆👌🏼👌🏼

My mother is Bulgarian and I’m currently based in Bulgaria haha thanks 🙏🏼

I thought they would look more Indian, but they look more like Iranians. Interesting.
