Hi there Dmytro! Cool list, thanks. So, from your point of view, the band got increasingly better from Pleasure To Kill to Coma Of Souls. That must have felt exciting. :)
As a teenager my friend and I were always looking for the heaviest and fastest and I remember Pleasure to Kill just ripping our faces off in 1986, superceding 'War and Pain' and 'The Return' in the brutality stakes. And it still sounds amazing. In fact I would say it is better than anything else released in that golden year of 1986.

@@PossessedByMetal666 I love all these albums and it was hard to rank them, I just believe terrible certainty has the best song writing and the most replay ability out of the 6, pleasure to kill is absolutely perfect in every way from how young Mille was when he wrote it to the lyrics and complex riffage, I just put it that now because I’ve heard it so many times so the replay ability isn’t very high for me. Also I feel like you have to give coma of souls another listen, there are much better songs than people of the lie in my opinion, such and the title track, terror zone, and agents of brutality, just to name my favorite. I love extreme aggression a lot because it was the first kreator album I ever heard so it gives me some nostalgia but terrible certainty jut beats it out. Endless pain is an almost perfect album for me, because the song writing is great and I can always sit down and listen to this album and never get tired. The only album I don’t like is renewal, because it just feels boring to me, it’s hard to get through the first few songs without dying of boredom, it’s got really good song writing but I wish they incorporated it differently. Just to clarify I am not one of those people who just hate the non thrash era kreator, one of my top 5 kreator albums is endorama, and outcast is another one I love. Glad to hear your opinions on the albums.

As for ranking, Coma of Souls and Extreme Aggression would have to be number one and two for me. Pleasure to Kill has to be in third, it's such a great album! I'm conflicted after that, but I'll pick Renewal over Endless Pain. Nothing wrong with Endless Pain to rank it so low, I just can't rank it above the first three and I'd like to show some appreciation for Renewal because it may have been a big change, but that doesn't mean it's not a good album. I personally love Mille's screams on it and songs like Europe After the Rain are just brilliant.
I guess a lot of this has to do with how one comes across them. I grew up in an environment that was pretty hostile towards rock and metal music (mandatory religion classes when I was in school in the '90s, getting rounded up to be shown "documentaries" about satanism and evil in the music, not being entirely safe to walk the streets with a certain look) so my journey of discovery started pretty late. I only got into Kreator when Phantom Antichrist came out. My Kreator is the new thrash Kreator, that's still what I like best and what I listen to the most. And I started to discover the old thrash stuff from what they were playing live off those albums. So maybe you don't find When the Sun Burns Red memorable, but to me, it was one of the first old school Kreator songs I ever heard and immediately liked.

I found it really hard to rank these 6 as they are all superb,yes even Renewal which has its haters,not sure why to be honest.

Yes it probably is to be fair,they tried to go in a slightly different direction with that album,but it works for me.Unlike Endorama,the only Kreator album I just don't get on with.
You know, I still haven't heard that album. Looking forward to the reissue so I can assess it!
Some Pain Will Last is one of my favourite Kreator tracks! Renewal last, then Coma, Endless, Pleasure, Aggression, and Certainty. Terrible Certainty was the first Kreator LP teenage-me bought (having been blown away by Toxic Trace on a metal compilation), so I naturally have a great fondness for that one. (Completely agree with you about Behind The Mirror, though.) There's a gnat's whisker between the top three - all superb records.

Absolutely! Amazing that it took them only about a year to make a better album. But in these days, it took them almost 5 years that they made a better album than Phantom Antichrist

Also worth mentioning that my favourite Kreator record, at least in terms of sheer consistency, might even be the Flag Of Hate EP. Flag Of Hate, Awakening Of The Gods and Take Their Lives is an incredible combo!
First time ever that I've ever seen Renewal placed above Coma Of Souls lol, but I respect your opinion, kinda agree that Extreme Aggression is slightly overrated, I like the album but I always found the overly polished and thinner guitar sound detracted from the power of the songs!..my ranking is -

Back in 1985 (I was 12/13 years old), my older brother bought Endless Pain and to be honest for me as a a young boy it was just noise to me and the cover artwork scared me a lot 🙈...2 years later I started also listening to metal (Up the Irons) and became a fan of the bay area thrash movement. I discovered again KREATOR with Extreme Aggression. This one and Coma are more or less even to me. I went with Coma because it has way better guitar soli work. Pleasures are to chaotic to me and I don't like the drum sound. Side not, the beginning of Pestilence sounds really copied from a Maiden song on the Killers record 😉...
I sold Renewal back then after a few days. Songs aren't that bad but the newly barking of Mille was to much for me... really annoying...the next good record to me was Violent Revolution. Sounds like the legit follower of Coma.
That's my KREATOR story. 😉

How do the reissues from the box set sound? Any quality issues?
Hey there Jonathan! I couldn't hear any, but I'll confess that I'm not very technically minded when it comes to audio. So I haven't done a comparison in terms of loudness, etc. :)
You got the top two right. Pleasure to Kill is up there with Reign in Blood and Beneath the Remains.
I bought it back in '86 and it was so avant-garde to me it took awhile to sink in.
Terrible Certainty was a fantastic follow-up, keeping the fresh aggression alongside incoming precision.
It sadly waned abit after that. Still a strong band today but I wasn't keen on Gods of Violence after the excellent Phantom and Hordes.
Hey there Dave! Glad we're in agreement on the top two records! I know what you mean about Pleasure To Kill seemingly avant garde. The sheer ferocity was a lot to take in, back in 1986!

I like the punky era of Kreator the most, and that is albums 3-5.
On the other hand, their gory era, album 1+2 is a lot of fun.
Renewal is just awful, it is the worst of all Kreator albums for me.

I respect your ranking, however I think Renewal is really terrible. Mille's voice sounds very raspy and monotone (it gets annoying after a while,) and the production aside from the drums isn't all that good. There is also a weird sample of Senator Robert Dwyer shooting himself in Karmic Wheel that doesn't match with anything else in the song.
