This video is a product review.
One of our best buddies in the DIY (Do it Yourself) part of our lives has been hair and beard trimming equipment. The sales went up like a rocket in Q2 2020 due to the lockdown restrictions.
At the time of this video the 2nd wave has hit the country and we are again confined to the 4 walls of our beloved house from where we could not escape totally.
Shop, shopping malls and salons are closed and we need to groom ourselves. And hence I thought of putting up a long term product review of Wahl 9243-4724. I have been using this Clipper for Hair and Beard trimming for well over 8 months and am very happy with the product.

It is better not to dismantle the product by yourself. I would suggest, reach out to Wahl customer care. They would definitely help out.

After how many haircuts do we have to change blades. Waiting for Reply Sir
I have been using this for almost a year now. Have completed 12+ haircuts, mine, da's, son's. Till now did not feel the need to change the blades.

If you keep blade clean and oil blades during storage it will go on for 100+ haircuts. Try to finish haircuts in short possible time..so motor won't heat and blades will not wear out easily. Also Do Not unscrew the blades unless blades are misalined. That way it should last 8-10 years considering 1 haircut per month. My father used a Wahl clipper for a decade using above mentioned tips.

Yes. I have inserted a clip near the end of the video to show the result.
It might not be as good as a Salon, but good enough..

Isko Salon Mein use kar sakte hain kya ?
I dnt think so. Salon mein heavy duty usage hai. Yeh utna pressure shayad nahi le payega. 3 to 5 cuts in a week seems doable. But daily 20 to 30 cuts might not be feasible.
It would call for repairs..
Can we use it for trimming beard
Yes you can. Its a bit difficult but possible with practice.

This is a clipper. Its primary function is hair clipping. But you can also use it for beard trimming. In this video I have given a clip of long beard trimming @10:56mins into the video.
Its good enough considering both functions.
Regular trimmers does not help is hair cutting that well hence at this price, I would suggest this product.

Sir. I have buying one this item from UAE. Just 10 minutes useing but very heating. Also letring on product made in chaina. is it any duplicate?
This is made in China.
It has minor issues of heating up which I have already mentioned in my review.
But I am happy with the product performance at this price.

Its around 2.1mtrs long. By god's grace, I have not had to reach out to the customer service.. 🤞

There is I clipper and 14 accessories.

Its no. 8 ie. 25mm.

No. Its a plug and play only product.

Just bought the trimmer. I have oiled the blades and waited for 1/2 hr - but it doesn’t start. I also tried to adjust the screw full clockwise & anti-clockwise BUT STILL it didn’t START. Am I missing something here ??? Pl advise.
Its a plug and play product. Seems some issue with your piece. Oiling doesn't have any relation with the the motor, its for the blades only.
The screw is meant for alignment of the blades. Usage of the screw is mentioned in the owner's manual.
I think you should either approach the service centre or file for an exchange aa out of the box the prdt is not working even before usage.

It is made mainly for hair trimming
Hair Clipping.
Beard trimming is not the primary function. But it can double up as a make shift arrangement. I have attached sample video of beard dressing (long beard) in a DIY haircut video.

User pe bhi bohot kuch depend karta hai. I have not had any issues with this product. Its still working fine I bought in July 2020.
Blades use k baad clean karna hai. Cleaning brush bag mein hi hai. Oil har bar use karna hai.
Iss price mein Wahl US wali quality expect karna sahi nahi hoga. But I am happy with this product hence made this review.

Starting k kuch uses mein hota hai. About 15-20 mins ka continuous use k baad. But after few uses, it gets fine..
