What type of screws are you using? Brass ones? Then you have precut the thread with a steel screw. Otherwise I just drill a pilot hole hald a millimeter thinner than the diameter of the screw including the thread measured with calipers. I never broke a screw.
Hello Patrick, of course I can share the details of those stainless steel laster engraved logo plates/coins/... They are laser engraved 20mm stainless steel logos. I've seen them originally from on a German UA-camrs channel called "Andys Werkstatt". I ordered them from Lasergravuren Engelmann in Germany: www.lasergravur-engelmann.de They are not cheap but since I use them only rarely on special pieces that's fine. Hope that is helpful, Michael
Exactly those ones are not for sale. I have a bunch of the #shapermade ones which are shown in this video: "Shaping" a Bottle Opener with my Shaper Origin ua-cam.com/video/fHsNohS6UGY/v-deo.html but not setup an etsy store yet. The planned price is ~25.00 CHF. Not yet decided if I’d go for international shipping or shipping in Switzerland only.

Hello Todd, that is a logo coin out from stainless steel with my logo laser engraved to it. I got that from a company in Germany. I don’t know if that helps. The website can be found using the following URL: www.engelmann-werbung.de/lasergravur-engelmann/
The size of the bottle opener is 160mm length, on the top where the metal insert is to open the bottle it has a width of 55mm and the thickness is 20mm. Sorry I can only provide metric measurements I'm not that familiar with imperial measurements :-)
I did order them in germany using this website: www.lasergravur-engelmann.de It‘s laser engraved on a stainless steel coin. The name is possibly laser engraved logo coin? I‘ve seen it on another diy youtube channel and asked the same question and landed at the website from Engelmann. Hope that helps.
What size smaller bit did you use?
The smaller bit I use is 1 1/8 inch in diameter: See the specs from Rockler for the Insert here: www.rockler.com/rockler-inset-bottle-openers-6-pack
C'est tout bonnement superbe.Extra le tournage.👍
They are absolutely nice Michael we love it ,cheers
I love the different woods you chose! Can you add the link to the bottle cap hardware
Thank you. The bottle opener inserts are from Rockler: www.rockler.com/rockler-inset-bottle-openers-6-pack

I know this is a old video what was the 2 different bit sizes you used ?

What is the backstory on the logo discs? I think they look very cool. Can you share the details on them?

Nicely done! What size bits did you use?

I know this is an older video, but is the final thickness 19mm/3/4"?
I do reply on older video comments as well. The bottle opener is 19mm / 3/4 inch thick. The ones I do with the shaper origin are 20mm thick.
Where would get a bench hold down like you used in this video!?
You should find both variants of clamps I use by following this link: www.ustoolandfastener.com/festool-mft-clamps/
Are these for sale, if so, hat s the cost?
Thanks.

~29mm.
What router bit did you use for the roundover?
I used a 6mm roundover bit to achieve the roundover on the bottle openers.
@@MKWoodworking thanks!
